New York Yankees Highlights: vs Minnesota Twins | 9/16/25
[Music] [Applause] [Music] be able to lay off it if you’re a left-handed hitter. And that’s a base hit to right center. Gisham rounds third. He’s going to score. Judge is going to third. It’s an RBI single for Bellinger. His 94th RBY of the year. It’s going out too much and he starts bending at the waist. That’s when he gets in trouble. Highf fly ball deep center. Bucks it back on the track. Reaching for the wall. He makes the catch. Tagging and scoring is Judge. It’s a long sack fly for Stanton. You do get the green light in the hole and off the glove of McMahon. That’ll find the grass and left. That will allow Lardic to score. Clemens makes third base and the Twins answer back. Wells fly ball deep center. Bucks him back on the track at the wall and it’s off the top of the wall. Vulpi will score. Wells stops at second with an RBI double and it’s 31 Yanks and he missed a home run by just an inch to center field. Well, I thought Buckton was going to have a chance at this and was going to at least jump for it, but he went shied away from the wall and it looks like he ran to the right of the baseball and couldn’t jump back. He overran it. Highfly ball deep right Walner back turning looking a home run for Gisham. His 31st of the year and the Yankees lead five to one. Well, the last time Matthews faced him, he gave up three home runs. This time he’s given up two doubles, a home run, and a couple of singles. And the Yankees have got five on the board already. Tell you what, familiarity is dangerous sometimes when you have a club that likes to hit the ball in the ballpark. Lined into right field. It’s a base hit. Judge rounds third. He’s coming home. Here’s the throw. He is in there ahead of the throw from Walner. Has a great arm. An RBI single for Stanton. Rice stops at second and the Yankees are up 6-1. You know what I feel like too many catchers do today is they get too far out in front of home plate because you’re not allowed to block home plate and you lose where you are. Well, I think Gasper gets out in front of home plate too much. The record which is 306, but they’ve done quite well. Fly ball left center. Outland makes the catch tagging McMahon. All the runners tag. McMahon scores. It’s a sack fly for Gisham. What a difference he makes for that team. That’s ripped into left center field. On the run is Buckton. He makes a catch. Tagging is Bulpi. He’ll score. Throw comes into third. It’s a sack fly for Judge. And the Yankees lead 8-1. Line drive. It’s a base hit to right field. That’ll go to the wall. Scoring is Wells and Rice with an RBI double. Everybody’s enjoying the day and the Yankees are up 9-1. Second hit tonight for Ben Rice. He got jammed on the first one in the second inning. Three of these guys have already had three at bats in the first three innings and he gets the head out on this one. Pulls his hands in, doubles down the right field line to make it nine to one. Boy, he’s a good looking hitter, Michael. Man, he’s kind of made a statement that he wants to be part of the club next year. Another base hit for Vulpi. Chisum rounds third. He’s coming home. He’ll score. Second hit for Vulpi. Third time he’s on base. And the Yankees have double digits. They lead 10-1. This one hit well to right center field. Back it goes. And that ball is gone. Big time power there from James Alman to the second deck. Right of that center 443 ft. And the Twins hold within seven. This ball was absolutely flattened. 110 off the bat. It’s hard enough to get the ball to go out to right center, the first deck out there. He got that up above everything. So Ryan Yarro up in the Yankee pin. Ball one. Gets away from Wells. Here comes Buckton will score standing and Lardic makes third. It’s 10 to four. Benefit of stealing third base. You can score on a simple pass ball like that. You can score on an error. There’s a bunch of different ways you can score from third base with two outs. that one there. He reads that ball down and understands. Man, two very good players. The first guy I saw do this was Nolan Areronado on the way to hit all his gold gloves. He’s hit to center. Wner’s going to score and Mickey Gasper with an RBI single. It’s now a fiveun game. Hit in the air right field fairly well. Judge back on the track. He’ll pull up out of air. It’s jailed with a two-run homer. Twins are right back in this game. Yankees 10. Twins seven. I don’t know what Walner told him, but this took it to heart. Bobers his third home run. It’s a beauty to right. Lighter is allowed an earn run in three of his last four appearances. Runner goes and swinging a high-fly ball right center field and deep. Judge going back to the wall and that is caught at the wall. Buckton will tag and score back to first. Martin and Lardic just missed tying this game up. It’s a sack fly and now 10 to eight. Caught it right before the wall. This one Judge will turn around and wave at one-run game. Lick number 17. Twins not done yet. You would think that he would get him out and he does. I’m here. [Music]

Yankees win
When the offense comes alive, the pitching falters. Can't have an easy one, can we?
win is a win ig
yankees bullpen = shit
It turns out Yankees needed all those 10 runs to squeeze this win.
Team sucks
Another crappy performance from the bullpen. If the Boss was alive they would all be gone, along with the manager maybe even the GM. The Yankees will never win with Boone.
The Yankees can hit bad pitching. Don't be misled Yankee fans. The night before they faced good pitching and only had two hits.
