Okay, game three of this series. were still waiting on the outcome of game two from Tuesday, but the Braves did take game one 11 to3. The Braves will be throwing one of their top prospects, Hursten Waldrip. Waldrip has been great through his limited action this season. He’s made eight appearances, seven starts with a 278 erra. And that’s even with a particularly bad last outing where he gave up eight earned runs through through four and a third against the Astros. On the other side for Washington, it is going to be Brad Lord getting the ball. Lord has been struggling recently. A 777 erra with 10 walks and five homers in his last five games. He’s not going to have a strong backup of a reliable bullpen either. The Nationals relievers have collectively posted a 794 RA in their last five games heading into Tuesday. Though Atlanta’s bats really haven’t been anything crazy good right now, they do seem to be picking them back up from a very slow early September. Uh and they have still been better than Washington. So, with the Braves likely having the better starting pitcher option here, their offense has been better. I got to roll with the Braves on this one.
