As someone who started watching in the late 80s, most of my life was “I’d like to see them win it just one time in my life.”
That was the story for years. Then it finally happened and man was that awesome. Now 3 SBs later the national narrative has changed to “Can Pat catch Tom” which I’ve long stated I think is a silly narrative given a championship is a team accomplishment but we treat it like it’s 1 on 1. Catch Tom in rings or not, in reality we’ve already won as fans. Anyways, that’s another topic.
We’re somewhere in the 1/2 way point and it’s not even over yet. It’ll be fun and intriguing to see how this team shifts over time as greats retire & Pat himself has to alter his game to protect his body and/or mobility isn’t quite what it use to be. But he’s a smart guy with about as much skill as a QB could ever ask for. He’ll figure it out.
