We have a ton of work to do in the offseason
Jesus. Does Oli make them run sprints or something after a pitiful showing like this?? What a fuckin joke
Just saw a stat has the Cardinals have the worst OPS since the All-Star break in the entire MLB.
i feel like joshua baez’s breakout hasn’t really gotten the hype it’s deserved yet. since going to AA, he hasn’t slowed down in the slightest.
he’s lost a bit of batting average but he’s improved his power, walk rate, strikeout rate and his BABIP is in a much more normal territory.
right now, this is the only real middle of the order hitter i’m seeing in our minor league system. JJ is great but more of a leadoff guy.
Team OPS by month:
* April: .738
* May: .714
* June: .701
* July: .675
* August: .659
* Sept: .618
Not a great trend.
