  1. Cubs W and clinched a playoff spot!

I’m also turning 30 in October. A WS would be a cool birthday gift…

  2. It’s been a weird season that has felt frustrating more often than you’d imagine for a team with one of the best records in the league. But we finally get October baseball at Wrigley!

2020 being the weird Covid season and the 2018 postseason berth being just the one game WC game really makes this feel like it’ll be the first legit postseason appearance for the Cubs since 2017.

  3. Let’s get hot going into October. Get our starting pitching right and get our outfield (minus Happ, he’s already been great) going again. Seiya and PCA and hopefully a healthy Tucker are our most important offensive pieces to get going.

  4. I’d just like to officially say to all the CC doomers, you were wrong. Playoff baseball is BACK! Thanks Craig

  5. Beginning of the year: no expectations
All star break: we’re going to win the division
Today: I love the Cubs. I’ll take it.

  6. Nice of the Cubs to give both the optimistic and pessimistic fans something to talk about today 😂

Seriously though can’t take any of this for granted. Let’s get healthy and get ready for playoff baseball!

  7. So proud of these boys

We were talented enough to make it the last couple of years, but things didn’t go our way in a few games to keep us out. With this team the sky is the limit so I’m excited to see what we can do.

  8. Man as fan the last couple of years you think of how frustrating it’s been. From the last year with Ross to last year. It wore you down as a fan.

Ian showing some emotion there really just shows you how bad these guys want it too and how much those seasons got to them as well.

  9. The baseball gods not only gave me a day game for my birthday, but the fucking clinch too, hell yeah.

  10. a sweep and playoff spot secured in the same day! i’m pretty happy rn to say the least 🥹

  11. Feel great for all of the guys in the locker room right now, but especially happy seeing Seiya celebrate.

I’m sure when he decided to come over it was moments like this he really wanted to experience.
