I fear McTavish will get the Z and Drysdale treatment and shipped to Philly eventually lol. I’m half joking of course but wouldn’t be surprised due to holding out. GMs seem to hate that.
It just astonishes me how each side can play hardball so hard that it could potentially dip into training camp. At some point you’d think they want to avoid missing any training camp. As the article points out, with the new coaching staff, “…being present for the start of camp to learn new systems and knock the rust off is essential.” Especially considering this is a pretty big stepping stone year.
Can’t help but acknowledge that the ball really is in Verbeek’s court. A young player with the ceiling McTavish has should get somewhat of a blank check- I mean there’s no possible way what he’s asking for is absurd considering our cap situation.
