Kansas City Chiefs vs New York Giants | Week 3 Game Preview

How about two 0 and2 teams for a little Sunday night football action? Still, they’ll give us more than seven field goals and an uncontested rushing TD, right? Just depends on who shows up for the Giants offense, Jackal or Hyde, and whether the Chiefs offense shows up at all. Blitz Mahomes over the middle, Kelsey. Oh, it’s picked off. Kansas City heads to Jersey still trying to get their offense to catch. If they can’t get it to light against a Giants defense that just gave up 40 points to Dallas, there could be real problems there. 21 week one points down to 17 week two. 4 for12 on third down. Patrick Mahomes under 190 yards passing. Only one TD against a pick. Low70s rate. Back-to-back sub90 rate outings to start his 2025. Pumps going deep. Got a man wide open Thornton and he missed him. Now he gives it a go against a New York secondary that just gave up 360 plus yards, two passing touchdowns, let him hit big a number of times in crunch time. It’s a pass end zone touchdown Dallas. Yep. Now Dak threw 52 times. They held him under seven yardds per attempt. That’s good stuff. And they did pick him off and they also got to him three times. Kavon Tibido, Brian Burns both in on the action. He is sacked from behind. It’s Brian Burns. Mahomes took two sacks on his 29 attempts. He’s been taking care of business himself a lot so far, taking off seven times last week for 66 rushing yards and a TD. No one in the middle of the field takes off. First down and more. Well, there was nobody there and he picked up 22 easily. When he did let it go, hit Taekquin Thornton for a 49yd TD. That’s Thornton again. This time he’s got it. He connected with Travis Kelce four times. Should have been five in a different narrative maybe. Travis with 61 yds throws. Great catch. Kelsey somehow picked it up. Hollywood Brown 30 yards and that was kind of it. They might get Xavier Worthy back. Have to wait and see. Giants secondary did allow tight end Jake Ferguson to go for 78 yds. CD Lamb to go for 112 and gave up TDs to Cavonte Turpin and George Pickins. End zone Turpin. Touchdown Cowboys. Nothing much from Kansas City’s backs. 18 carries between Isaiah Pacheco, Kareem Hunt, neither guy with more than 31 yards, both under four yards per carry. Maybe they find some success versus New York being they gave up 97 yards to Javvante Williams, 5.4 a run and a score. Javvante Williams has room to the outside. He hurdles inside the 10. Giants defense has work to do. Clearly, their offense, man, they’d take more of that. Never in his life had Russell Wilson had a game like that. 450 yards, three touchdowns, 11 yardds per attempt, a 123 rate, chucking bombs all game in dramatic situations. Look at end zone. There’s a touchdown for New York. Had a bad heat check throw in OT, unfortunately. Still, 37 points is a barrel full and stacked against a Chief’s defense that held Philadelphia to 20 points. He takes on a secondary that held Jaylen Herz to 101 yards, under five yards per attempt in a sub 80 rate. They held AJ Brown under 30 yards. Devonte Smith 53. New York’s attack built around white outs as well. Malik Neighbors comes in off a 167 yd game, two scores. Malik Neighbors, he dropped it in the bucket. Juell Robinson comes in hot, too. 142 yds in a TD. Rips it to Robinson again, this time for 25. And the third option, Darius Sllayton hauled in a 52 yd pass. It was an air raid attack. Blown coverage right here. And Darius Sllayton takes advantage. KC got home versus Herz twice on his 22 pass attempts. Wilson sacked three times along the way. On second and 10, bringing the pressure and getting to Wilson for the first time today. Chiefs defense held Saquon Barkley to four a carry. That’s a win. Now they get some Cam Scataboo. Maybe he led New York in carries with 11 last week. Punched one home. He’s got it straight ahead for the New York touchdown and his first in the NFL. Giants up 11 to4 over the Chiefs all time. First time they got in the ring together. 1974. What a way to get it going, too. Craig Morton made his first start a winning one as he passed for 256 yards and two touchdowns against the Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium. New York took a comfortable 20 to7 lead until old pro Lenny Dawson entered the game and rallied Kansas City to within two points. A lonely Joe Dawkins loped in with the winning touchdown and New York had broken the losing streak with his second win of the season. Heat. Hey, Heat. [Music] [Music]

  1. Giants, you have the chance to do the funniest thing here. If the Giants beat the Chiefs and put them in an 0-3 hole, the sport media will melt down, I think Nick Wrong would have a nervous breakdown.

  2. wilson will be the wild card in this one. he's always been a gunslinger back when he was with seattle. It's best to let him do what he does instead of turning him into a standard drop back QB. Both QB's outside the pocket are great at making big plays with legs and arm down field could be a fun game

  3. Even though Kansas City is favored to win the way the Giants played last week despite the lost to the Cowboys in Overtime I won't be surprised if the Giants put the 3 time AFC Champions in the unfamiliar 0-3 spot

  4. One team where you think things will be different, and then there not.
Another team where it took 50 years to climb that mountain again, and who do you find? Taylor Swift

  5. Alright tarvis kelace and Patrick mahomes are you ready for Sunday night football Alright show us what you can do and one more thing i want to say Patrick why would you blame on tarvis kelace like that because of kelace and Patrick why did you betrayed tarvis kelace just for that to happened i thought kelace didn't see taylor swift and now this and this isn't fair enough for tarvis kelace and now you blaming on him it just a game okay that's it that's it I'm done i can't say this tarvis kelace you did have a brother and it was Jason kelaces team that's why I couldn't tell you about this and Patrick just blamed you what was that who would do that do you know tarvis do you who done this to you
