NBA LIVE! Golden State Warriors vs Chicago Bulls | September 18, 2025 Warriors vs Bulls 2K Full Game

These two teams, Brad, fantastic group of passers on each side. They’re just so unselfish. They play for one another. You can see how it keeps the whole team involved. And I’ll tell you what, I just love watching teams that can pass like this. And a look at the starters for the Bulls. We’ve got Balis. Trey Jones is out there with Kobe White. Then there’s Io Dumu. And it’s Buch at the pivot spot banning the middle. And so it’s Jones who brings up the ball for the Chicago Bulls. Lets the three fly. The Warriors pull it in. Butler with the ball now. Here’s Dumu. [Applause] [Music] Now Jones pass to Bzelis. Three-pointer. No good. Given his range, you’d expect him to capitalize on that open and stolen by Jones. Here’s Bzelis. He’s covered by Curry. Now Jones. [Applause] with it over Green and it’s Buch that time on the assist from Jones. Just a threat from all three levels. Nicolola can hit from the inside, outside and in between. The kick out. Curry [Applause] drops in the layup for two. Not afraid to mix it up inside. Curry is a crafty finisher. Chicago’s gone 0 for two from outside. Dumu. The pass to Buchvich. And the foul called on Draymond Green. That’s his first foul of the game. Here’s Bzelis back to Dumu outside. White clock at six picked by Bhvich. The three is up. White good. And I like how White shot it with confidence. He’s reliable beyond the arc. Moody passes to Green. Well, that’s the look he wanted, but the defense doing just enough to impact that shot. Pass to Buch over Green. Buch’s shot is off. Oh, this is exactly the kind of opportunity you don’t want to waste. Such a skilled big 610 Nikolovich. He can beat you up in the post or he can step back and hit a three stand. Yeah, Brian. And he’s an excellent passer as well. Throughout his career, Buchvich’s teams have been very good offensively and his versatility is a big reason for that. Easy look when the defender isn’t fighting over the screen. Yeah, it’s certainly worth it to disrupt the offense. Coaches notice that extra effort. Now here’s White. A screen on Butler. White for three. And again, it’s Chicago with a three. Now, you want to get him going as soon as possible. Great way for him to start this game. Yeah. And I’ll tell you what, if he gets into a good rhythm early, watch out. Moody on the wing. He’s covered by Dumu. A shot by Butler. No good. Here’s Bzelis. Hoody defends outside. White drives to the hoop. Pass to Buzzellis to Sumu with it over Butler and Chicago again with a bucket. Well, look, if he misses that shot, coach might think of benching him. He’s pretty fortunate he got that one to go. Now here’s Butler. No made baskets yet. Back to Curry. Launches a three and it’s Dumu with a rebound. Chicago leading by six. [Applause] Jones. The pass to Dumu. Back to Jones. A screen on Curry. Jones from outside. And again it’s Chicago with a three. Defensively, you have to stay connected to him on the perimeter. Outside Butler. Pass to Pajimski. Outside Booty. Here’s Butler. And you can count it. He’ll go to the line with a chance at a three-point play. You got to really hit Butler if you want to stop him. I mean, he’s tough as nails and enjoys fighting through contact. You think of guys who play greater than their stats, Butler has got to be on that list, coach. Yeah, Brian, the competitive nature of Jimmy Butler is the stuff of legends. Sure, sometimes it can make it tough in certain locker rooms, but coaches love his passion for winning. Feels like a guy that’s built for the playoffs. Absolutely, Stan. It’s hard to believe, but the Bulls have not won a playoff series since 2015. Well, look, Brian, it’s hard to win in this league. And when you’re rebuilding, trying to find the mix that’ll get you over the top is a difficult chore. Long way from those Michael Jordan glory days. Warriors trail by six. pass to Moody to the middle and it’s Butler with the jam. When Butler is cleared for takeoff, just get off the runway. And here’s Jones. [Music] And here is Buch. And stolen by Green. outside PJski and he’ll draw the foul. He’ll head to the line for two. And when you look back at the 2023 draft, the Warriors got great value out of their picks. Yeah, I mean, they got the Jimsky with the 19th pick, a versatile player who impacts the game at both ends. And they also got Trace Jackson Davis late in the second round, and he is a fundamentally sound big man with great upside. He knocks down the first one. Well, the last time the Bulls won a playoff series was back in 2015, Grant. That was back when Butler and Rose were their leading scorers. And it just shows you just how long it’s been. But they’ve been stuck in mediocrity ever since. And right now, they are desperate for a breakthrough season. Smith, he’s checked in for Chicago. Herder comes in for Dumu. Zoe picks up just one from the line that time. Bulls leading by three. Pass to Smith. [Applause] Now here’s Buchvich. Green covering. Bic against Green. Green with a defensive effort. The Warriors have gone four of eight. and looking in control. Got it. Butler’s got seven points in the game. Using his superb court vision, Green is able to routinely find his open teammate. A chance here to catch up with Ally from the sideline. Nicole Busousvich has seen a lot in his decade plus in the league. And he said the game has changed. Now you have centers that can pass, put the ball on the floor, make plays, and shoot threes, play like guards, and you can’t get stuck in time. You have to be able to adjust. Ali, he’s certainly got the skill level. Here’s Buchvich. Smith outside. It’s Herder on the wing. Back to Smith. Out to the wing. Five to shoot. Here’s Buchvich. Capable of guarding any position on the floor. Green’s energy on defense really makes an impact. outside Butler. A chance there to take the lead, but a miss. And here’s White. He’ll bring it up for the Bulls. [Applause] Pass to Jones. To the right side. White to snap to Cold Streak. Rebounded by Butler. The Warriors trailing. Here’s Curry. Three-pointer pairing his second of three attempts. Yeah, most of the time you assume Curry’s three ball is falling. That’s how good he is. And we’ll have a timeout called by Billy Donovan. He’s going to gather the troops and talk it over. Well, Stan, you coached against some really tough players in your day. Where does Jimmy Butler stand right now? What makes him Jimmy Buckley? Well, I think Brian, he’s just a great competitor. He wants to take on the biggest challenges when he’s on the defensive end and on offense. He is willing to attack anyone. Heat. Heat. Heels checked in for the Warriors. Faster. Herder outside. White no good. Had a chance to end the run there. Golden State has gone one for three from beyond the arc. Heel from outside and the Warriors with another three. Long range shots like that almost effortless for Heel. Every chance he gets, he’ll take that shot. White against Heel. Now here’s White. Tight defense on it. Healed with the defensive effort. Pass to Moody to the paint. Here’s Butler. Up it over Smith. Butler with the bucket. Butler’s got nine points and they’re building up steam. Getting out in front and trying not to look back. Well, look, we’ve seen that no lead is safe these days. You got to keep scoring and extending that margin. Now here’s Smith. Hasn’t gotten one to fall yet. Inside. Here’s Bujic. Back to Smith. Fires for three. The rebound by Moody. The Warriors lead by seven. Left side. Butler. Outside PJsky. Oh, and there’s the whistle on the shot. So, two free throws for him coming up. That’s on Jaylen Smith. Playing with passion, Butler is never scared of a challenge. A wing who battles inside. And let’s get your take, guys, on the scoring breakdown for the Warriors. Well, I have to applaud their ball movement. They’re moving the ball around, finding the best looks they can, and keeping everyone involved. And the other thing you notice is how determined they’ve been to get into the paint and get buckets around the rim. Both teams will make substitutions. Butler hits them both. The Bulls trail by nine. Offensively, it’s been a struggle for them. Yeah, they need to string together some shots to have any kind of chance. And we’ll have a timeout called by Billy Donovan. Coach wants to speak to his guys, maybe alter some of the game plan. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Floro has checked in for Carter. V muchic. The pass to Dumu. Now Herder. There’s a screen to stop the run. Warriors with the rebound. I can’t believe he missed that three. Regardless, that’s not a shot the defense should be given. [Applause] And he was fouled while in the act of shooting. So, he’ll take two free throws. It’s his first trip to the line. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. [Music] [Applause] That one’s off. [Applause] So he comes up empty at the line. Bulls trail by nine. Here’s Auroro. The shot misses. Healed with the defensive effort. Golden State has gone two for four from range to start things off for three. Jackson Davis misses. Chicago has gone three of seven from beyond the arc in the first. Okoro passes to Buchvich to the paint. Pass to Dumu to stop the drought. Buries it from three. Dumu’s got five now. He’s a producer. It’s part of their plan to get him as many touches as possible. And the officials will call the illegal screen here. Well, the league has put an emphasis to crack down on illegal screens. Yeah. And yet we still see it a lot. It’s a tough thing to police. And the Warriors making a change here. Curry’s checked in. Collins. He’s checked in for Chicago. Herder against Curry. Herder passes to Dumu driving inside. Count it. All three of his attempts have gone in. See, now that layup isn’t possible without the help of the pick outside heel and he lobbs it up. Jackson Davis misses. That could have been an easy pass and finish. Not really sure what went wrong. Yeah, that just comes down to the timing being off between those two guys. An aggressive move to a strong finish. Yeah, and getting out in transition allows for some easy points before that defense is fully set. So, it’s the Warriors now. Chicago making their last shot. It’s tipped. Aoro outside. Pass to Smith outside. Herder Smith with a screen on Curry. Now here’s a Cororo. Six to shoot. Collins with it. Guarded by Heel. Collins passes to Dumu and unable to get the go ahead bucket there. Outside heel to the middle. And here’s Curry. The deep three that misses. Would have counted had it gone. Jimmy Butler getting it done for the Golden State Warriors. 11 points in the quarter. He’s on fire. We’ll be back in a moment. [Applause] and we hope you’re enjoying the game. Both teams tonight keeping things pretty even on the scoreboard so far. And what do you guys think about the Warriors here in this one? Well, I think it’s pretty obvious they were well prepared defensively coming in. KY, know your personnel. So far, good attention to the scouting report. And it’s the Bulls with the ball on the court right now. Second quarter for the Bulls. Dumo is out there with Kevin Herder. Then there’s Isaac Aoro. Then there’s Jaylen Smith. And it’s Collins in at the five roaming the paint. And plays like that one can make the difference in a close game. And it definitely got the bench on their feet, too. And guys, you cannot allow that in a close game. You have to make it harder than that. Pass the post. Chicago with a rebound. After undergoing three ankle surgeries in 10 months in 2020 in 2021, coach Zack Collins has bounced back amazingly. He really has, Brian, and the injuries have really been the only problem for Zack Collins. He’s got size, skill, and toughness. This guy is a very effective player when he’s healthy. This story is inspirational. It is indeed. Here’s Curry. That’s the basket by Chicago and the basket by He defense paved that. He’s a skilled shooter who you have to contest at the end. Pass to Smith. Herder against Curry. Back to Smith. Oh, the dunk by Smith. Putting that pass right in his stride. didn’t have to slow up and was able to complete the play and he lobbs it up to the rim and an emphatic jam on the lob. The find from Buddy Heel. I’d like to see him do that more. Spread the ball around. Dumu right side. Pass to Collins. fires from deep, called in by Curry. And that’s a foul called on Isaac Auroro. That’s his first foul. The Warriors have got two of three shots to go in the second. Curry against Herder. Here’s Santos. Pass to Jackson Davis. Shot clock at six now. Here’s heel from outside. Off the mark. [Music] Dumu outside. And there’s a pick outside. Herder shoots over Curry. And Chicago again with a bucket. These teams just feeling each other out. Yeah, I love the spirit out there. Already six lead exchanges. Outside heel, Jackson Davis. And there’s the slam. Dumped to finish it off. Well, he can get you the ball in a number of ways. That time with a great bounce back. Time out. Time out. Timeout is called by Billy Donovan. I think right now he must be looking at some adjustments. And coach, it seems there’s a move to cut out some of the cheap fouls in the game. This notion of if you wouldn’t call it on the playground, why do you call it in a game? You like to see where it’s going? Yeah, look, there’s sometimes where I think we’d get a better game if the players do what they did in kickup games, Brian, and just called their own fouls. A lot of these cheap fouls would cease to exist. I think there’s just got to be a better recognition from referees on what really impacts a play and what doesn’t. Heat up here. Heat. Heat. on defense. The Warriors, their biggest lead of the game was nine. Now here’s Dumu. Guarded by Heelter passes to Dumu. Just five on the clock. from the ark sure from three-point range. The Sunmoose got five points now this quarter. It’s been neck and neck this entire first half. Yeah, eight lead changes so far. These clubs are looking evenly matched. Shot is good by Curry exchanging buckets from downtown. That’s been a staple of tonight’s game. Well, sometimes you get in a shootout like this, but you just hope that you can get a stop first. Golden State has gone two of three from beyond the arc so far in the second. Pass to Jackson Davis. And here’s Heel. He’s covered by Dumu. outside heel. Jackson Davis’s screen shot from the top of the key and he sinks that one in the back of the rim on the way in and it’s a three-point Warrior lead. Chicago has gotten five of 11 threes to drop so far in this game. Smith with a screen on heel. Theu with it. Jackson Davis picks him up. Smith passes to Herder. Rebound by Post. The Sunmoo’s got 14 points and once more this half they find a way to get great position inside heel for three drops in the three. 11 points in the game. Easy look when the defender isn’t fighting over the screen. Yeah, it’s certainly worth it to disrupt the offense. Coaches notice that extra effort. Now here’s Dumu. 14 points for him. Collins finds Herder. Played it in with a nice touch off the window. Good play call and good execution. The offense running on all cylinders. The Warriors have gotten six of nine attempts to go in the second. Looking good. Herder against Curry. Jackson Davis in the high post. Back to Curry. The free ball and it’s Dumu with a rebound. Chicago trailing here. Pass to Smith and he hits it to tie the game. Well, he saw the height advantage he had and went right up with it. That’s exactly what you want him to do there. Herder against Curry. Here’s Santos. Jackson Davis with it. Here’s Post. Pass to Curry. Puts up a deep three. It’s hauled in by the Bulls. Collins has got four rebounds now. Now here’s Dumu. Smith with a screen on heel. Here’s Dumu. And the Bulls tack on two more. Man, he’s on fire. Playing patient basketball, not forcing shots. Pass to post. And here’s Curry from 12 ft. Now Herder from behind the ark. Rebound by Post. Here’s Sanchos by Cororo and out of bounds it’ll be Chicago ball. So both teams making some changes here. And so it’s Jones who brings up the ball for the Bulls outside White. Dumu outside. Here’s the three. Warriors with the rebound. Green’s got his fourth rebound in this one. The Warriors have gotten seven of 13 attempts to go here in the second. Butler passes to Moody outside for Butler. Butler full of crafty around the rim. And we say Butler seeks contact, but he sure doesn’t turn it down. Jones feels it out. Pass to Buch. Down to five on the shot clock. Here’s Dumu. And the shot no good. a bit short. Well, the analytics don’t like it, but if the defense has given it up, I like that shot selection despite the miss. Now, here’s the old. He’s got 11. And so, he draws the foul headed to the line to shoot a pair. Kobe White picks one up. Man, there’s a bevy of young talent in the NBA right now. Who are you most excited to see grow into a star, Stan? Well, what I’m really excited about, Brian, is to see which of these young talents becomes true stars, transformative guys. Certainly, Chad Holgren and Winyama have already had this great rivalry. Scotty Barnes has become the next big point guard. We see Anthony Edwards, Paulo Bonero. There’s a lot of guys that could be the guy and it’ll be fun to find out who actually develops into that play. As the torch is passed, who’s going to take the mantle? Field hits them both. Bulls trail by five. Pass to Buzzellis. Can they get it? Rebounded by Green. Green’s got five rebounds tonight. Here’s Butler. Outside booty, outside heel. There’s the triple. Oo, coming through again. Shooting five for seven now. He’s been so aggressive on offense. And with the results, you understand why. Well, yeah. And the defense is going to have to respond to that and chase him off the ark. Now here’s Jones into the lane pass to Bzelis and they come right back with their own three-pointer. Bzelis has gotten himself going with a triple. His first basket of the game [Music] now. Pachimski outside. Butler [Applause] back to Pajimski. Let’s go with a three. And great assist by Butler as that one goes. But Jimsky’s got six and both teams running long range plays that are working. Well, you know, it’s become a three-point shooting lead. Teams shooting a steady diet from outside. Pass to White. Jones with a screen on heel. White for three. Warriors with the rebound. I mean, he’s trying to shoot his way out of what’s becoming a prolonged cold streak. Yeah, I get it. But you don’t want him forcing things. It’s better to get your shots within the flow of the offense. Now here’s White. He’s got six and it’s good. Two points. You got to commend the concentration White showed there. He doesn’t get thrown off Kilter easily. [Music] Outside Butler from the line. Rebound by the Bulls. Dunu’s got four rebounds now. 41 seconds left in the first half. He’s got a piece of it. Butler using his athletic skills to get it done. Pass to White. Valvich. Count that one. Oh, nice speed. On time and on target. Buddy Heel has been leading the charge for the Warriors. Iodumu really making a difference here through the first two quarters and change. His perimeter shooting continues to be spot on. Yeah, he’s been locked in tonight. Through the first two quarters, he’s been a huge factor from outside. And it’s Jones with the ball for Chicago. Curry and Pods make up the back court. Butler out there with Moody. And it’s Green in at the five down low. And that’s the group for Steve Cerr as we begin the second half. Now here’s Buchvichu for three. They get the rebound and Buch slams it in. A player that seemingly inhales rebounds. Bic attacks the glass with great energy. Outside Butler and the foul is called. He missed it. So, he’s got a couple of free throws coming his way. Stan, you’re the son of a coach. Your dad was a great coach at the collegiate level. What was the best advice you ever received from him? Well, Brian, the one that has always stuck with me is he told me in my first season, if you think you’ve got all the answers, it’s only because you don’t know all the questions. And I think that’s true in everything, not just basketball. The first free throw is good. Butler hits them both. Bulls trail by three. And here’s Jones. And looks like an illegal pick was set. That gets the ref’s attention. Tough one. In a game where every possession is valuable, turnovers can make the difference. The Bulls making a switch here. Smith’s checked in. The Warriors lead by three. Curry with it. Outside. Pajki. Pass to Green outside booty. Butler with the ball from deep and it’s Dumu with a rebound. Second half of basketball. And timeout is called by Billy Donovan. He wants to review the game plan. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Jones. The pass to Smith. Now here’s White defended by Pachimsky. There’s the three. Rebounded by Green. Green’s got eight rebounds in the game. But Stan, you talk about a late bloomer. Kobe White has shown that he might be just that. Well, Brian, everything has come together for him. He’s improved on defense. He’s improved his decision making. He got that second contract and a bigger role. And he is playing great. They might have the best hair in the NBA. And it’s Jones with the ball for Chicago. Smith outside. Dumu pass to White. Here’s Smith. Six on the shot clock to the inside and stolen by Green. [Music] Three on three. It’s Pajki on the wing and there’s the foul. It’s on Kobe White. That’s his third foul of the game and that puts them just one foul from the bonus. And here’s Butler outside. Oh, Butler with the confidence from the perimeter. Unselfish offense leads to Butler getting something in rhythm. Bulls trail by 11. pass to Buchvich to win the drop and he gets the jumper to drop. Buch has got 11 and just using the size advantage he has. I mean, he can easily see over the defense. Yeah, there’s not much else the defender can do there. One of the trickier plays to judge, but it would be hard to argue against the call. Yeah, and that’s maybe something that should be called more. We see a lot of moving screens in today’s NBA. Outside White. Jones finds Vuvich. Green with the defensive effort. The Warriors lead by nine. Butler passes to Curry. Off target from outside. Yeah, and the defense has really got to tighten up on him. I mean, he’s just too dangerous from the three-point line. And stolen by Green. Here’s Butler. Rebound by the Bulls. Veovich has got nine rebounds now. Jones. The pass to Dumu. Now Vevich. Dumu outside. Back to Buch. Oh, and he got fouled on his way up. He’ll head to the line to shoot two. It puts him in the popcorn maker. Veteran move by Vuvich. A chance to catch up on some numbers here. The scoring breakdown for the Warriors. Well, they’ve been hitting threes at a high clip and the defense hasn’t done enough to challenge them at the line. They need to close out and run them off the three. Yeah, they’ve also done a great job of running, attacking when they get the chance. Always a great idea. Heels checked in for Moody. And so Vivvich nails both of them. Well, you have to appreciate a big man who can step up to the line and knock it down with confidence. outside Butler. Excellent D there from Smith. The Bulls trail by seven. Here’s White. Cranked it in off the glass. White’s got 10. Well, as a guard like White, you need to score inside. Force teams to respect you everywhere. Outside Green outside heel and give him another one. He’s six of eight and looking solid. Capable of lighting it up any given night. He’s offensive game is only getting better. Pass to Jones. Down low. Here’s Butchovich. That’s in. coming off an assist from Jones. Jones has got three assists now in this one. And here’s the old outside. Green. And there’s a whistle. He’ll head to the line to shoot two. It’s going to belong to Nicolvich. What offensive effort from Green Backing off the shot isn’t even a consideration for him. These are his first free throws of the game. [Applause] [Applause] The first one falls for Chicago. Aoro is checked in for White and Herder subbed in for Jones. [Music] Second free throw. No good. The Bulls trail by six. Pass to Dumu. That’s good on the assist by Vevich. Herder’s got five points in the quarter. The Warriors have gotten seven of 14 attempts to fall in the half. Pass to Pajimski. Here’s Santos. The baseline. Jay pulled the shot a little left. The bounce goes his way though. He’s got 20. We all know He is a shooter through and through. Love seeing him get room to fire from there. Now here’s Buchvich. Here’s Terry defended by Bajimki. Here’s Williams. And the foul is called. He missed it. So, he’s got a couple of free throws coming his way. And even from where we’re sitting, you can clearly tell it was a foul. Chicago shooting their fifth and sixth free throws of the game. Shoot two. [Music] He can’t get the first one. Jackson Davis has checked in for the Warriors. Collins, he’s checked in for Chicago. Carter comes in for Taran. And he’s good on the second. And it’s the Warriors with the ball. He put his court vision on full display. Yeah, he puts that pass right on the money and made things look easy for his team. Man, I know I speak for all of us when I say I can’t wait to see what kind of finish awaits us here in the fourth quarter on the court for the Bulls getting the fourth quarter going.
