Miami Dolphins Rumors: Tyreek Hill TRADE To The Chiefs? Free Agent Signing Happening Soon?

[Music] We are almost 24 hours away from Bill’s Dolphins NFL week three, but we got to talk a lot about Dolphins rumors right now. Tyreek Hill, is he going to be traded to the Kansas City Chiefs? Plus, could the Dolphins be signing a cornerback very soon? I am Nick Rolloff. This is Dolphins Today by Chat Sports. We’ll start with the trade rumors around Tyreek Hill that have really been swirling since the week 1 disaster against the Indianapolis Colts. Well, Pro Football Talk aka Mike Florio said after the loss to the Colts in week one that the Steelers and Chiefs could be interested in Tyreek Hill. Well, he doubled down after the loss against the Patriots just on Sunday, saying the Chiefs have interest in trading for Tyreek Hill. Now, I wouldn’t be shocked if they did, but I also want to share this report where Adam Sher, really just out of the blue last Saturday before the Patriots Dolphins game, tweeted out the Dolphins have not received any calls from teams right now interested in Tyreek Hill and they currently have no plans to trade him. Now, a couple things here. First of all, this doesn’t mean it won’t happen from now until the November 4th trade deadline. I also will point out the verbiage that Adam Shfter used in that tweet. He said they have no plans to trade him currently. Currently means things can be changing a lot, folks. And if the Dolphins are sellers at the deadline, there is no player more obvious to be sold in terms of being traded than Tyreek Hill. And I’ll tell you what folks, if any move does happen on the Dolphins, whether it’s a roster move, a trade, we will have you covered on this channel, but also on my Twitter, Nick_ru is the handle. Currently have 2360 followers. Go give me a follow. We’ll have a tweet there on the news before making a video on the channel. I do truly believe Miami will be sellers at the trade deadline. And these are the six games before the deadline on November 4th. These six games take you through October. You play the Bills tomorrow. Jets at home on Monday Night Football. Panthers, Browns, Chargers, and Falcons. Like, yeah, there’s a couple easy games on the schedule, aka Jets at home, Panthers and Browns, but with how Miami has been playing, it is hard to imagine Miami going anything better than three and three in that six game stretch. Like, do we really think they’re going to be able to beat Buffalo? Do do we think they’re going to be able to beat Los Angeles? I don’t even think they’ll be able to beat Atlanta because the Falcons pass rush has looked extremely good and they’ve been able to run the football and make Michael Penn look solid through two weeks of the year. So even if they do go three and three, they take advantage of the three weaker opponents, the Jets, Panthers, Browns, you do all of that, you’re still going to be three and five at the deadline with a much harder second half of the year schedule, which tells me the Dolphins will be sellers. And if they’re sellers, yeah, they should trade Tyreek Hill without a question of doubt. But they should not stop there potentially. There are four major veterans that I think could be traded at the deadline, assuming Miami does go at least to a record under 500 by the time that deadline comes around. Tyreek Hill and then I would put all three edges. Do I think all three of them are going to be traded? No. But one of them, oh, absolutely. Chub is older, but he has looked good through two weeks. He has one and a half sacks. Jaylen Phillips has one year left on his deal. unclear if he’s a part of the long-term plans in Miami. And Judon is a veteran that you could maybe flip for a seventh round pick if a team is looking for some pass rush depth. Now, if you ask me which player on that list of four is the most likely to be traded, I would still answer Tyreek Hill. But the point of showing those four players is that Miami should look to sell off any veteran not likely to be here two years from now at the deadline considering they are not going to finish very highly in the NFL standings. Predict it for me pin comment. Will the Dolphins trade Tyreek Hill? Why for yes or N for no? Get down in the comment section. Let me know. Now I do want to also say this. The domestic violence claim by Tyreek Hill’s ex-wife is still out there. The NFL is investigating. There is no criminal charges, but the NFL would not need to suspend Tyreek Hill, or I should say would not need criminal charges to suspend him. So, until that clears up, a Tyreek Hill trade is very unlikely. But with that being said, he has looked very, very good through the first two weeks of the year. And that may incentivize a team like Kansas City, if they think they need an offensive spark, to go out and get Tyreek Hill. You look at his numbers through two weeks. He had a bad week one statistically having negative 2.1% completion overexected and only 40 yards. But in week two, he went for over a 100, a plus 24% completion overex expected, but his average separation went down a little bit. He still has been separating. The point is this, the tape does not lie. Men lie, women lie, numbers and tape do not. And when I have looked at the Dolphins offense through week one and through week two, Tyreek Hill is jumping off the page to me. He is open consistently and either Tua is missing him, under throwing him or the pressure from the defensive line is forcing Tyreek or Tua to flush from the pocket, move away from Tyreek Hill’s side and or a sack. But Tyreek Hill is getting open and we saw Tyreek Hill get behind the defense last week. It still resulted in a 46-yard completion but should have been a 60 70 yard touchdown. We saw Tua miss Tyreek on a 20 yard comeback route in the middle of the field in the fourth quarter. And in week one we saw to a miss Tyreek Hill on an inb breakaker in the first quarter that was high and intercepted would have likely been a touchdown. Like Tyreek Hill has been open. So, when teams are scouting Tyreek Hill and trying to gauge if they should trade for him, what the cost would be, the tape will actually benefit Miami because I think most teams will recognize that Tyreek Hill has been very good through the early part of the season. And I think you could either get a conditional third round pick for him, same thing as Devonte Adams from a year ago, where certain conditions if they are met, that pick is elevated to a second round pick. if not as a third or you can get multiple picks, a concrete third round pick instead of a conditional, but you also get a midday three pick in the fifth or sixth round. Those two, I think, are the most likely returns for Tyreek Hill. It will remain to be seen if he ultimately gets traded and who trades for him. But I do have to imagine the Kansas City Chiefs with how bad that offense has looked early on in the year. Yes, without Worthy. Yes, without Rasheed Rice. But could they look the swing beg and add a former Kansas City Chief and Tyreek Hill? We’re gonna get to the cornerback talk here in a second. Prize picks is good to be right. We’ll move away from the trade talk and now into the free agency talk. The Dolphins, could they sign a cornerback? Well, the top three free agents still out there as of filming this, I would label them pretty simple. Stfan Gilmore, Asante Samuel Jr., and James Bradberry. I think Bradberry is cooked. Asante Samuel Jr. isn’t going to sign until the end of October due to his neck injury. So, the only option here for me is Stfan Gilmore. But I do believe Miami should sign the veteran because this is a guy that would be better than what you have currently and would be able to contribute right away. I said that the entire off season, June, July, August, and now we’re saying in September because through two weeks of the season, the Dolphins pass defense has been horrid. It’s been the worst in the NFL in EPA allowed per pass play by about 0.2 points. By the way, the next team, 31st team in the league, their EPA per pass is about 2.3. That’s just bad. They allow 236 and a half pass yards per game. 24th, 8.4 yards per play, tied for second worst. Granted, the separation is about halfway, but that is unacceptable. Stfan Gilmore would help sh up your secondary at least a little bit. stay locked in here at the channel because even though the Dolphins have gotten off to a slow start, we’ll still be here with two videos every single day and live on game days like tomorrow against the Bills. So, subscribe and join the family. I mean, you look at the top four corners for Miami to this point, it hasn’t been good. Storm Duck in one game has allowed the most yards out of anybody on this football team, 72. He also has a QB rating in that game one against the Colts. Perfect. 158.3. Jack Jones has given up 72 yards as well through two games. A touchdown to Kahan Bouty, 131.3 QB rating. Jason Marshall Jr. has not been that good in the slot, 113.9 QB rating when targeted. Your best corner has been Rul Douglas. Surprise, surprise. The veteran corner who has had the best career is the best and most successful corner you got. What does that tell you? Well, it tells you one, your secondary sucks that Russell Douglas is your best corner, but two, it can’t hurt to bring in another veteran like Stefan Gilmore because Jack Jones has not worked. Storm Duck has been bad. Gilmore would without a question be better than Jack Jones and Storm Duck. And now I know Duck’s out with an injury, but the point still remains. I’m actually to the point where Jack Jones has been so bad that I would be intrigued to see what Juju Brent has. the former second round pick out of Kansas State. The player Miami claimed after the Colts waved him on roster day, 6-3, physical, rangy, explosive. Why not give Juju Brince a shot? Jack Jones hasn’t been good through two weeks, and we’re only going to have to play better teams coming up. Why not sign Gilmore? Why not give Juju Prince a shot? If the Dolphins do make a signing, we’ll have you covered on Twitter before making a video. So, go give me a follow right now, Nick_ola. [Music]

  1. Nic how about keeping Hill trading entire list along with Waddle and Achane? Dolphins fans May not like my idea, but the team would get far more draft picks for the new GM & couching staff.

  2. Yes, I would definitely trade Hill but if you’re gonna do, do it right, you need to clean house so waddle chubb, Phillips all gotta go. As far as Gilmore goes if we’re gonna suck, we gotta do it right there’s no reason to sign a big money veteran CB just let it play out and save the money in case a big trade or some kind of good veteran becomes available

  3. So why do we trade Tyreek? Hes our better player. Why not get rid of Tua and play someone else? Is it a cap thing? Why is it that teams always go for their very best first?
