Athletics vs Boston Red Sox – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 17, 2025 MLB Season

Gelito with a one-two pitch to Curts. Swing and a miss. Strikes him out. That change up is a really good pitch for him. Opponents hitting just a buck 85 on it. Really up and down the line. Swinging a high pop up into left field. Durant moving over near the stands and will stagger a bit but he’ll make the catch in fair territory. Sodestrom coming off the bench and hurting the Red Sox last night. He’ll fire that one. Well struck. Sean racing back. Lunges forward and makes the play. How about that catch every night and a 3-2. There goes Durant again. And a little pop up into right. He’s got to get back. Hernand. Durant has started back to first and he’s going to be out at second on the force play. That one driven into left center field. Backing up. Butler lunging for that and he’ll snatch it. Racing all the way back to first and sliding in safely Trevor Story. Last regular season road trip and a 2-2 and a soft line drive right field. That’s going to drop down base hit. Trevor Story rounds. He is in to score. The Red Sox leaded one to nothing on a base hit by Masataki Yoshida with a man at second. Will deal a one-two pitch. Runner goes. There’s the throw down in front of the bag and that’s a stolen base for Masataka. Cortez 329 with four home runs. Drives that one to left center deep back toward the wall. That’s going to be off the monster. Butler racing into third. They’re going to stop him there and a slide in double by Cortez. 3-1 fly ball right field. Rev. Snider gets under that, makes the catch, tagging up Butler, and he is in to score and he has tied the game and Hayes with a sack fly to make it 1-1. And I spent my summers playing in the inter city league. Ah, here goes Ref Snider way down the line into the corner and that is off the pole. A home run. Red Sox take the lead two to one and then seven years as an assistant coach and then a handful more as head coach in the American League. So I think that’s the proper path to get this opportunity and he says it’s just clicking the skill level and the depth of the skill level has all changed but they are constant and it’s the same with baseball and you need goalending you need team defense and you need strength down the middle. I hope that’s going to be the case with the Bruins and that they’re going to be very competitive this year on the charge here. Dory and Abom and everybody’s going to be safe. The bases are going to be loaded. Wilson with a little trickler on the grass and that’ll be a base hit. The knockdown by Langler’s run is going to move up. He’s going to dive into second. Could also become a free agent. Swing and a miss on a change up for fans. Two from Gile. The runner is going. Here’s the throw and that’s going to glance off the glove of Story. The runner will hold at second. Barnett’s 3-1 and a ground ball to second. Ernes will start it out there and out there. The double play goes 463. And that is all for the Socks in the fourth. But he’s got electric stuff. We’ll see how this one plays out. Langelers with a hot shot. That’s a fair ball. Gets by. It’ll car him into left and Durant does a nice job hustling that into second. He’s on ball four. Just been a strange night for Gilito. Two-1 pitch to Sod and a ground ball. Gonzalez into second. That’s one back to first. Safe there. And down low for ball four. And here he comes. [Music] check swing and he missed with that and his ball four to run is in will score and it’s a two- two game trying to make it backto-back strikeouts with the bases loaded and a ladder up the middle will skip knocked down that’ll roll into left. Two runs are going to score. Kind of a half swing there, but it’s going to wind up driving in two and four to two the A’s and a base hit into left. A boy Son with a single. Good at bat for him there. Sadon 19 stolen bases. Short lead, however, at first. He’s not running and that’s going to be Ball for first and second, nobody out. Bounding ball to Hernese. He bobbles it face to first. Safe. Base is loaded. Nobody out. Basso’s one. Gentle ground ball. Curts will flip. Close play. Safe. Has the run. Scores. Sean is in. Scored a run. Red Sox were hoping for several runs in that inning. But there’s going to be a base hit in right field off the bat in Nathaniel Low. So the Red Sox with the leadoff man. Oh boy. That’s happened several times tonight. 02 and a liner base hit to right. He’s on for the fourth time. That’s low to second. Third hit for Durant. Yeah, I feel like that was the pitch up the middle for a base hit. Here comes Low. He’s in to score. Durant down to third. Red Sox have tied at 44. First and third, two down. Two strikes on Bregman. Here goes Story. He’s going to take second. Give him another one. 31 for 31. Cut on and miss. The change up strikes him out. One down. Breaks his bat. Pops that one right to Bregman. A runner gets back to first and two down. Winlock trying to finish off Thomas and he does. Struck him out with a slider. One hit, one left. Time to stretch. Tied 4-4. Rob Revstein at 143. Runner taken off. A strike throw down the tag. He hangs on to the bag. He’s got it stolen. 3-2 pitch. Live flying to right field. Driving back Thomas trying not to make the catch. Tagging up Hamilton. He will get into third and stop right there with two down. That was so deep and and Hamilton speed. Whitlock back to work against Renee in a line drive and a leaping play and a catch hauled in by Romy. Do it Romy. One two from Whitlock. Highf fly ball center field but a routine play for Son Raphael and that’ll be on number two in the eighth and a one-two he gets him. Struck him out. They go one two three four in the middle of the eighth and popped up around the plate. Langelers out in front of the dish and makes the play. Son one for four. One gone and a line right base hit sucked into right field. Another one for Trevor Story. His second tonight. He’s on board for the fourth time. He takes off. The throw down the tag. He’s out. He is cut down for the first time this season. 3-2. Line into right field. Sinking. Rev. Sutter coming on to make the play on a sinking line drive. He got down number two. Line drive to right field. That’s going to settle down for a base hit. Sodestrom takes off for third. The coming back into the infield. Wilson with his third hit in the game. And a onew to Hamilton. Top back to the hill. Has the same effect. All right. takes the play to first and down to second goes Bregman from the big righty swinging a high fly ball into center deep. Butler’s backing up, backing up the wall who will make the catch. Breman back to second as the throw comes into third and foul tipped in mid struck him out at 100 miles an hour. The Red Sox strand another one and we’re going to extras here at Fenway tied 4-4 and the two- strike pitch. Line drive into left field. Durant sliding down did not make the play. The runner will hold at third as Butler moves up and that’s a base hit. Get that first out and he does it. 97 again. Big one. One down. He struck him out. Foul tipped into the mid. That’s strands two. Carlos, by the way, one for one with a double against this guy. And he’s dropping down a butt. Coming on her knees. It’s in time to get him as the runners move up to second and third. Contact. Give yourself a chance. The 1-1 ball. Here comes the runner. play at the plate. He slides in safe. The Red Sox win it. Eden scores. All you want him is contact.

  1. Wondering why we should even want the 2nd wild card at this point. If we're not going to have home field advantage, I'd much rather take my chances against the Jays than the Yanks.

  2. Needed extra innings not to lose 2nd game in a row to bottom dwellers and excited about it! And bragmen wantd more than 40 million?!🤬💣👿☠️👎💀 Giolito disaster! Again bases loaded no one out and only 1 run when behind to bottom dwellers!
