I thought it was pretty telling during postgame on Sunday when Brady was asked about the Eagles’ and Jalen’s lack of offensive production through the first two weeks when Tom responded “you can’t win until you first learn how to not lose”.
The only QBs with a better record over their first 4 years are TB12 and Mahomes. (Feel free to place an asterisk next to Tom’s first 3 championships)

Brady didn’t put up gaudy stats until the 2007 undefeated year. As a passer he did a lot of what Hurts does, which is take what the defense gives him.

The higher rushing TDs and lower passing TDs will be the thing that will always tarnish Hurts reputation. While football is a team sport, the ability to spread the ball around for other’s stats is still important
People said Brady was a game manager for years until he came into his own. And people kept calling Lamar a running back even after his first MVP.
Maybe if we didn’t have to change coordinators 5 of the 6 sessions Jalen has been here, he’d be further along as a passer but there is still time for him to grow into one. He has had 13 300 yard passing games, he is capable of it.

This literally apples and oranges. The league is not the same as it was 20 years ago. Pats fans did the same comparison with Mac Jones. Anytime a rookie throws a ton of picks people compare him to Manning. It’s not the same thing.
