Based on WAR alone, a team of five Aaron Judges would be ahead of the Rockies in the NL West
Looking at Judge stats, I don’t know how some people can say he doesn’t deserve the MVP. He’s just the best hitter in baseball and I don’t think anybody else is particularly close.
MVP race is NOT CLOSE
Some people say that Aaron Judge strikes out too much. Well, he has a lower %KO rate than Shoei Ohtani and Cal Raleigh.
He’s very good at going boom with his bat.
But Raleigh has a lot of HRs…

Remember when Altuve won because of his batting average? Judge finally has that, so I hope voters don’t keep changing the narrative.
If you dropped Cal Raleigh’s OPS by 180 he would be league average. If you dropped Aaron Judge’s OPS by 180 he would be Cal Raleigh.
I don’t care what Mariners fans think. It’s clear that Judge should win the MVP award. Like, yeah Cal is having an insanely great season, but all the stats point to Judge. The only thing Raleigh leads in is home runs.
