Mets set MLB record with 46 different pitchers used this season

  1. A revolving door is nothing to be proud of. This reminds me of 2000 and 2001 seasons. Mets had a great team in 2000. Going with the same players the following year would have likely given as another great season. Instead, the roster was fiddled with too much and Mets finished only 2 games over .500. I always feel have a team gel is an important intangible to success.

  2. “Please just one more reclamation project please just one more this one is going to work I promise please please just one more”

  3. Remember when we thought Stearns was going to find diamonds in the rough? All he’s done is cycle through shitters. The number would be higher if he bit the bullet on guys like Stanek and Helsley

  4. It’s bad scouting and injuries. However, even with the injuries, the pitchers have been poorly evaluated. That number is absurd.
