Even with the fences moved in, that wasn’t going to stop Bellinger from being able to score with two outs. It’s a pitcher’s nightmare with two outs to give up this kind of hit. You would certainly take that. Mount Castle down on strikes. One away. the the thought of having Max Breed alongside Garrick Cole and unfortunately Garrick Cole went down with an injury. Then they might have something going forward. These situations aren’t ideal, but it is like he said an opportunity. Vasquez down on strikes. One away. Straed two base runners in the second inning. Mount Castle strikes out for the second time. and two away. Yeah, it is just without Garrett Cole for the entire season. Fred strikes out the side. 02 to Jackson. A six pitch. One, two, three inning. Matteo strikes out to end the inning. Eight strikeouts for Freed. Tremendous numbers through June and since the 16th of August Vasquez becomes strikeout victim number nine. Stanton with a base hit down the left field line. Around third is Gold Smith. He scores. Around third is Bellinger. He scores. And at second is Stanton. Yankees now lead 7 nothing as they’ve blown things open. Well, when you make a mistake in location and the ball doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do, the hitter has the advantage and the cutting fast ball stays over the middle of the plate. It’s It’s unexplainable. Uh, it’s happened to Justin Burlander in a historic way. Strikeout number 12. Mayo strikes out and Freed matches his careerhigh strikeout number 13. And that slider down and in. So tough to hit. Looking to close things out here. the two- two right back to Blackburn and that will do it.
