Just many of Clayton Kershaw’s career highlights, Class of 2030 you say?

Should be unanimous but we all know there’s someone who’s gonna ruin the fun
My first MLB game he pitched, and got ejected for hitting Manny Para for pimping a hr the night before.
You forgot to mention “Member of the Hall of Fame Class of 2030”
couldn’t care less about the dodgers. clayton is a dawg tho
Should be unanimous but one jerk won’t vote for him for his October shortcomings.
He’s a no doubt HoF’er, first ballot and should be unanimously voted in. However, he probably won’t be voted in unanimously because of some idiocy with the voters. Hate the Dodgers, but you can’t help but to respect a career and player like him. Class act. Congratulations on an amazing career, it was an amazing one to witness.
What a special player. The last of a dying breed.
I think the main question is when are the dodgers retiring his number?
Easy first ballot hofer. Best pitcher of the 21st century
Hard to see your favorite player retire, but damn it’s been a lot of fun these last 18 seasons
Got to see him pitch a gem this season. So awesome.
Well he’d be 2031 at this point but yes
The best pitcher in MLB since Maddux/Pedro/RJ
Only the 4th left handed pitcher to get to 3,000 strikeouts.
Randy Johnson, Steve Carlton, CC Sabathia, Clayton Kershaw.
He is as automatic a first ballot HoF vote as I can think of. Probably only Verlander and Scherzer are with him in that regard at the moment for pitchers.
11 time all star for an 18 year career sounds pretty ok to me
Still think he should have won Cy young in 2012.
Inner-circle greatness.
Class of 2031. 5 full years of retirement. The vote happens in 2030 but inducted July 2031. For example, Pujols retired after 2022 and will be on the ballot for 2028 induction after the 2027 season
Best regular season pitcher I’ve ever seen in my lifetime (yes better than prime Pedro). Should have won at least 4 straight Cy Youngs (One year wonder RA Dickey had no business winning with a higher ERA and WHIP)
Yep. Sure thing in HOF
Definitely 1st ballot Hall member, should be unanimous really. Maybe the best pitcher of the century so far.
Watched him 3x when he was with the Loons in midland michigan, very impressive. Almost as good as Mickey Lolich 😁
Easily 1st ballot
From 2020 to 2025 from ages 32 to 37 Clayton Kershaw held an ERA of 2.92 and a FIP of 3.31.
among pitchers in that time to pitch at least 550 innings he ranks fourth in ERA behind just Max Fried (2.86), Corbin Burnes (2.86) & Zach Wheeler (2.91).
Legend
Shout out to Kershaw for giving up 2 HRs on 3 pitches to my Nats in 2019 to help us win the series
1st ballot for sure
Every Dodgers fan is hoping he retires before the playoffs
I’m a giants fan and this guy is the definition of first ballot.
