Darryl Dawkins Was A Backboard Breaker 🤯

Gerald Dawkins is the father of power Duncan. I’m just one of his sons. Probably his best son from the planet love 611 center Daryl Duncan. He became the first player drafted by the NBA directly from high school. He was a man child. He was like a new trend of the big man because back in the day before the real big senators were like that uh with those big bodies, they wasn’t really high jumpers like this man. This man not only had finesse, but he can jump out the building. He looked around like, “You believe what he just did?” He just tore that thing. The glass was just flying everywhere. He just basically pulled the rim off into his hands. I mean, you see it laying on the floor and just pulled the bolts out of the the entire backboard. Um, I think after that one, I think he got the commissioner’s attention. Like because of him, they breakaway baskets. He changed the way they build backboards and rims. Are you kidding

I knew him, I knew his Mother and sister,and first and foremost, I knew his brother,Rev Michelle Daukins of Warners Chapel in Winter Park Fla.God Bless them all, they are a very beautiful family, I will never forget Rev Michelle, he paid for all of one of my family members Funeral, he kept me from going back to Prison and for that I am extremely thankful 😭

  28. I remember when he was breaking back boards like that, and he was called to the commissioners office. As soon as Darrell walked in the door, the commissioner told him to “knock it off“. 😂😂😂
