Sorry, this is one of those things that just sticks in my brain as an unsolved mystery that needs to be solved. For those who have forgotten, there was a mysterious drop of a 2nd alt jersey for the Reds this year, which they wore in the exhibition game vs the Dragons and hasn't been seen since. I know a couple of people who work low level for the team, and they didn't know. One even asked around and said no one was at least willing to say what happened there.
My theory based on all of the circumstantial evidence is that this was Nike testing a new uniform template, but obviously no confirmation exists. So has anyone seen any official word, or heard anything through the grapevine, as to what those jerseys actually were supposed to be?
