  1. Appreciate the memories. Glad he was able to get a second chance and carve out a career for himself. Wish him nothing but the best.

  2. And I was just worrying about Parker Romo getting claimed by another team.

Koo was incredible for us but it’s that time.

  3. He was awesome for us until he wasn’t.

It was so obvious last season that something was wrong with him, but we kept sending him out there to miss kicks anyway.

  4. Man it sucks but had to be done. Hopefully he can rebound on another team and have a few more good years. Hope nothin but the best for him.

  5. He won us a lot of games for a few years and was a top 5 kicker in the league no question. It was time to let him go. Wishing Koo the best!

  6. I will always appreciate Koo for most of his time here in Atlanta. Plus he went to Georgia Southern as well. Mostly up ‘til the first game against the Saints last year, he was very clutch for us. Idk what happened afterwards, but outside of the last year or so, thank you very much for the memories in spite of the mediocre teams we had.

  7. thanks koo! some great times, some bad times, but you were a solid kicker for us for a long time. in terms of legacy, i’d put him behind bryant and andersen but he’s one of the franchise’s best.

  8. Have two signed #7 Koo jerseys, don’t regret it all. Shame it ended but he gave us his best years!

  9. “I want to thank the Falcons organization for giving me an opportunity when no one else would six years ago. This place helped me grow as a kicker and as a man. I will forever be grateful for the support from the fans during my time here. I have nothing but love and respect for everyone in the building, I wish yall the best. I’m full of gratitude and excitement as I continue my journey in this league.” -Koo

  10. I’ll never forget when he was practically our best player for two years straight. I’ll always have love for Koo. But it was time. I hope he finds somewhere else though

  11. I saw Koo kick the game winner in Tampa in 2023, I was sitting third row probably right at the 35 yard line, so we were pretty much perpendicular to him and the goalpost. Given the angle, I knew it’d be no good to watch the goalposts to know if it went in, so I watched Koo. Seeing this guy turn and stare down our sideline, basically looking right at me, take off his helmet and sling it off to the side is one of my favorite in-person sports memories, and one I hope I’ll never forget. I’ve looked for photos or a shot of him from the same angle I had, in hopes to preserve it, but haven’t found any. I wish he’d been able to have more long term success here, and wish him well, unless he goes to the Saint.

  12. It’s a true shame he never got to kick for us in any postseason games. Wish he could have been here for any future success we have. I’ll never forget those onside kicks way back when. Hope he rebounds

  13. Thanks for the memories. I hope he can revive his career and stick around in the league for five more years.

  14. I loved having a Georgia Southern guy on the Falcons but when it’s time it’s time. Genuinely wish nothing but the best for Koo

  15. Good luck to a great Falcon. He was fun, his name was fun to hear the crowds chant, and he won us a lot of games before he started losing them.

  16. Really sad to see his fall off. Once a top 3 kicker in the league to being a total liability. I have to admit I’m very relieved he’s off the team now, but I do appreciate the good times too
