One thing that the padres have done better lately – taking your time when bunting against a shifted/deep third baseman. Drives me insane when lefties still drag bunt in those situations. You’re safe by a mile if you put it in the right spot.
Tatis getting A swings off in leverage counts is obviously a welcome sign. Inexcusable that it took so long to happen.
