🎥 LIVE Yankees vs. Orioles – Recap and Highlights (9/19/25)
for living. They say making noise. I hear them say [Music] Bad cars all the time. Took the hand. I was tell got to let it shut. Huh? What? Yeah. Tell me where to sign. I’ll give it all away for some peace of mind. [Music] They got a second chance. Yankees drop a game. They need it, folks. [Applause] Jenkins lose. Ah, you bet your ass. They dropped this one under my umbrella. The New York Yankees today drop a, you know, really do a major favor to the Toronto Blue Jays and losing his game today. Yankees lose four-2 in a game. In all reality, the Yankees could the Yankees I think since the beginning of the game could look at that box score on the scoreboard and say, “Shit, we need this.” Like, if if we want the opportunity today to maybe have the chance to win the division, I think the division chances may have gone out the window tonight. If there was a chance for the Yankees to win, they would have kept it going. I I feel like the chance of winning the division has now kind of wiped itself out. Yeah, it’s only three games, but remember, they can’t tie. They got to do better than that. They can’t tie with Toronto. Toronto gets the tiebreaker, I believe. So, they’d have to do better than Toronto and actually win a division with at least a game up, half game up, whatever it is. But the Yankees put it through a wrench in that plan today by losing today when Toronto got smacked around. Boston was also losing by the time we got off. So, uh, they really helped them out today. No doubt about that. Kyle Malay says, “Uh, so was no one on the bench available tonight?” It’s like one of those days when Aaron Boon just says all the, you know, if you’re playing, you’re playing the whole game. We’re just resting everybody. I I don’t know, Kyle. I I don’t want to, you know, have to wrap my head around this [ __ ] I’ll be honest, though, guys. There’s really nothing to talk about today. Um, uh, Trevor Rogers. What the hell is this [ __ ] Trevor Rogers with a um, Hold on, guys. I don’t know why this screen is messing up on me. Yankees don’t want me to see how bad this They don’t want me to go over [ __ ] today. and said, “Fuck that. I don’t want to see it.” Uh, Michael says, “This on is F. 100%. This on is F.” Uh, for the Yankees, pitching wise, Warren goes five in the third inning. One earned run, three runs given up. To be fair to Will Warren, Will Warren really wasn’t a problem. Will Warren really wasn’t the problem today. The problem for Will Warren was he missed the ground ball and then Jazz made an error. And that’s where those additional runs came from. Fernando Cruz goes one inning, given up nothing. Tim Hill a third of an inning, two hits, one earn run. Not a good outing from him. Uh Dval gets a one pitch, one out. And then Mark Lighter Jr. throws one inning and gets out of it. So two errors on the game for the Yankees, of course, the ones I mentioned, Will Warren, and then also Jazz. Speaking of Jazz, he is a 3030 man for the New York Yankees. Jazz hits his 30th home run. um uh you know, not every prediction you make in an off seasonason is going to be right. Probably more than likely when it comes to baseball, you’re going to be wrong a lot more than you’re going to be right. But I will say this, I am happy that I was right about this one with Jazz. I predicted that in 2025, this year in the offseason, that Jazz will be a 3030 guy. And hey, he gave me that prediction at least. I can’t be I can’t be right about everything. I was wrong about Dominguez being a rookie of the year. And I’m sure I’ve been wrong about a lot of other things, but Jazz hits the 3030 mark today. I’d much rather see him, of course, you know, feel the ball and not make throwing errors, but it is what it is. Um, nothing much else to talk about. Uh, in all in all seriousness today, Yankees are now 88 and 68 on the year. Um, or is that wrong? Are they Is that 86 or 88? I can’t see. I think they got 86 wins. 86 and 88. Yes. I don’t know. Do I have Is that just that weird 80? No, I got 88 wins for the Yankees. That is wrong. Yankees are 86 and 68. 86 and 68. I had that wrong. My bad, guys. 86 and 68. The Yankees will have two more games here against the Baltimore Orioles before their final six at Yankee Stadium. Three against the White Socks, three against the Baltimore Orioles, all at Yankee Stadium. Ladies and gentlemen, man, let’s jump right into it. Let’s get the voicemails, hear what you guys got to say about today’s game, and let’s go. Here we go. Yo yo, this this is one of those dumb games that are on Boone. You put Warren in the pitch who has been struggling lately and then you put a roster around him that can’t score any flipping runs and then you make stupid bullpen moves. It’s just so frustrating. Dude just keeps continually punting games. There’s no reason we lose this game. We should have won this. This is stupid. I mean, it’s not over yet. We still got to go in the night, but No, we lost. It looks like we lost. We lost. Indeed, we did lose. Look, I’m not going to go as far as saying this game’s on Aaron Boone. And you know, I guess some people may say, “Yeah, come on, Pete. You know, you know, Boone is it’s on Bo.” Oh, my bad, guys. Champ the chat. My bad. Champ the chat. I’m sorry about that. Thank you, Kyle. Thank you, Kyle. I appreciate you, man. William Henry. [Music] Nothing’s going to keep you down. But no, getting back to what I’m saying, uh, this is not a game where I’m sitting there looking at Aaron Boon. Now, if you do want to say you felt the lineup could be a little different. I understand that. I get that. Um, Aaron Boon all year has kind of been stuck on having a lefty righty lineup. Now, I’m not the biggest fan of it in the world when you got Austin Slater. You know what I mean? Austin Slater, like this guy really got to be taking at bats away from Jason Dominguez or Lord have mercy freaking anybody else. I mean, those are the type of things that I understand that could bother you, but Will Warren pitched okay today. It really wasn’t Will Warren’s fault. The Yankees bullpen also didn’t pitch really bad today. I think the Yankees bullpen gave him one run the entire game. So, they didn’t pitch terrible. Um, I think today’s on the Yankees offense, and if you want to be upset about the lineup, that’s fine. But I think today’s on the Yankees offense more so than anything. Hey Pete, Kyle. Oh [ __ ] Is Dominguez and Gryom dead? Like why the [ __ ] didn’t he pin [ __ ] for Slater in the nines? Like what a [ __ ] idiot. Jesus. This this is a worse loss for the Yankees tonight cuz they could have with the Blue Jays losing. They could have got rid too, but she just no sense of [ __ ] urgency on this team. Well, let’s they can come win tomorrow cuz Boon’s a [ __ ] idiot. Like, what’s the point of having a fence if you don’t [ __ ] use it? Good night. Oh, Kyle Malay has seen enough. He’s fed up. Damn it, Brson. Cincinnati, how you doing? What’s up, man? That whole on was S. The whole thing. The entire thing was s at this point. I don’t know what we can expect anymore because it seems like whenever we really need to win a big game, teams are flounders. And I mean, it’s it starts with leadership. Baboon has shown that his teams are softer than marshmallow fluff and when it really counts, they can’t get the job done. Uh Stanton Judge, both of them letting down big spots, terrible at bats from the entire lineup. Uh, bad, sloppy defense. Vulpy and then Jazz season comes along. Hey, watch me. So, if we don’t tighten up again, we’re going out early in the playoffs. Hope they figure this [ __ ] out soon. Someone gets their ass kicked cuz Baboon needs to start kicking some of these guys in the moose knuckle for them to wake the [ __ ] up. That’s all I got. Later. I appreciate you, man. Great voice, man. And yeah, man. And it’s uh uh super chat right there kind of goes along what he was saying in the voicemail there. What are the Yankees chances with this bullpen? The bullpen’s not that good right now. And that’s why I said I’m I’m hopeful that maybe after Cam Schlitler’s outing on Sunday, maybe they put him in the bullpen and start kind of getting them used to maybe two outings out of the bullpen before the postseason starts. But I do think they’re going to need help from Cam in in the bullpen. Um depending on who the Yankees go as a number three starter. Do they go with Louis Heel? Do they go with Cam Schlitler? We talked about this on All Rise this morning. Um, they need help in their bullpen and having a guy that could throw 100 miles an hour and maybe just blow batters away for an inning could really help them. But look, I I don’t know who in the bullpen do you really fully trust. Like I say, man, I really want to trust Fernando Cruz. He’s been tough as of late. Tim Hill, he’s usually consistent. Didn’t have a great, you know, an outing today. Uh Devin Williams. I don’t care how good Devin Williams has been in his last four outings. I do not trust Devin Williams one bit. I don’t trust him at all. I just don’t trust Devin Williams. Bedar, you know, do I feel ultra comfortable wi with a one-run lead? Not necessarily, but I feel pretty good. Weaver, I don’t know about. Um uh what’s his phase? Dval, I don’t know about. I mean, the Yankees bullpen right now is not great. if they’re starting pitching do not go long in games like god forbid you know wild card ALDS series god forbid freed and rodon don’t pitch great or don’t provide innings if god forbid one of those guys go five innings and the other one goes four or something along those lines the Yankees are are probably desperately screwed in all honesty together with friends to get through. Hey man, have a good one Pete. It’s your boy Billy. Peace. Oh, thank you, Billy. You’re together with friends. What’s up, Pete? It’s Jake from Florida. Yo, what’s up, man? Wait a minute. Last time I got on here, I ranted pretty hard. Um, do it again, brother. It’s all good. Either way, um, I’m not overreacting to tonight. I’m just not. It’s a weird reaction. Normally I would flip [ __ ] over a game like that to be honest with you. But y between the guy and left taking at least two runs away from us. The humps were weird in the beginning. The energy was just off tonight. It just felt like nothing was going our way. And then you leave Rosario and Slater who I’ve loved seeing Rosario lately. He puts the bat on the ball. He’s an okay glove, but that’s what you expect. But it shows how good McMahon really is with some botch plays. Shows how good Max Freed is with balls getting hit back to him. Will Warren kind of struggled on that one play. So, just a weird night. I’m not going to overreact. It’s a four game series. Go win the next two. Yeah, man. Good point. I’ll be honest with you. The only reason why uh it’s drawing any type of uh of reaction out of me at all. The only reason it is is because Toronto lost and I’m I’m a guy that I’m not a just get in guy. I’ve never been that guy. If I want the division and I know people could say, “Yeah, people you’re still in and if they win, it doesn’t really matter.” They go, “No, I get it. I get it. Did I get all the controversy about, well, you got to win? I understand all that. I get it. I do. If you get in, you got a chance to win. I know. I know. I like to take the division. I like to be the beast of the East. And all game the Yankees could see the scoreboard at at Camden Yards and see that the Toronto Blue Jays are losing. And I just feel like there was the lack of urgency there to win this game. I I really do. I feel like there was a lack of urgency there to say, “Fuck this. We got to go get this. That team is down. We got a chance to be within two, folks. Fellas, we got a chance to be within two. We got to go. We got to win this one. We got to scratch something across that board there. And no matter what, if a guy’s playing good defense at left field or whatever the hell it is, we have to figure out a way. Get somebody on first, steal a bag, run, do something. The division to me is still important. It allows you to reset. It allows you to get your guys in order. It allows you to take more time to plan. It allows you to scout. It allows you to watch what what is the team facing us doing against these guys pitching. It it it allows you to prepare. Maybe it allows you to get cold. I don’t know. But I want to have the opportunity to win a division. And unfortunately, at the end of the day, I think today really really hurt the Yankees in that opportunity to win a division. Oh, hey Pete. Yo, shitty lost 4-2. Kind of came back. Jazz. Um, brought it 3-2. Giving up runs. Fernando Cruz kind of been [ __ ] lately, but I’m I’m confident he’ll turn it around. Um, Judge continues to swing the bat since the handshake and that’s really the only positive I see. But anyways, Pete, rock on. Let’s go. Thanks, man. Appreciate you, brother. Thank you so much for the calling. And again guys, um you know, we gonna do this all through the postseason. So again, if anybody is new here to NYU, postseason’s right around the corner. I’ll take the opportunity now and and of course, I’ll take the opportunity as these days go by and we’re about to hit the postseason time to give everybody a heads up of what we do in the postseason. A lot of you may not be familiar with it, but we um we talk about we do game season live, postgame season live, all the same stuff um with all the Yankees post games. Uh excuse me, all the Yankees postseason games. We cover all of them. You guys know that they’re obviously the priority. We only do Yankee games where the Yankees are in. If, god forbid, Yankees do get eliminated, god forbid, it’s the only time where I call other teams games. So, I I’ve I’ve made it a thing since my very first year of doing this that I’m just going to call the rest of the playoffs also. And we do do that here. So, god forbid if the Yankees did get out, we would call whatever game is maybe best in my opinion that day and I’ll call that game and just hang out with you guys, talk about the Yankees off seasonason and all that, whatever it may be. But hopefully, it’s a lot like last year in regards that we’re calling the entire postseason because it’s all Yankee games. That’s my hope. And I hope the Yankees get back to um the America League pennant and then get right back. Of course, winning that you get right into the World Series and another chance to take it home. So, with that being said, folks, again, the Yankees lose this game 4 to2. We’ll be back for you guys. Mñena tomorrow is again a 7:00 game on a Saturday. So, don’t get confused by that. Seven o’clock game tomorrow. It is a Saturday ball game. late start for a Saturday, but we got it covered for you guys. With that being said, folks, have a great rest of your day. Much love to all of you. Peace out. I will catch you guys many. I think I cut myself off. Peace. [Music] We come for that. Did it all on my own. Yeah. when it brought it back home. Yeah. Now they calling my phone. Yeah. But I’m all in my zone. They not a threat. Tell them reset. When they [ __ ] we still not impressed. Did it all on my own. Yeah. Went and brought it back home. Yeah. Bought a wash with the stones. Yeah. Caught them watching my throne. Yeah. Ain’t no one doing the [ __ ] that we doing. And ain’t nobody

Not sure why the caller blamed Boone for putting Warren in when he's in the starting rotation, who else is going to pitch better?
Honestly, Pete, isn't Lack Of Urgency a defining trait of Aaron Boone teams??? The NYY might have already clinched the division if it weren't for all the sloppy games Boone has pissed away with bad decisions and weak leadership. Lastly, how can there be a sense of urgency when there's no culture of accountability?
❤
There's always have that one sloppy inning that kills them.
Why is tim Slater on the team?
Sick and tired of seeing Slater in this lineup
