Washington Nationals vs New York Mets – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 20, 2025 MLB Season
Oh, and two to Abrams and he came to the inside corner with a change up and got him looking for the first out and allowed no more than two earned runs in any of those starts. That goes to the back stop taking off for second is Wood and he’ll make it on the wild pitch. Two two to Bell and he taps one to shallow left. That’s going to fall for a base hit. Wood goes to third. He’ll be held up there as NMO plays it in 80some games. Ground ball on the right side. A chance for two. McNeel the second one, but that’s all they’ll get against the speed of Lyall. Wood comes home with the first run of the game. The door hits it sharply, but right to Abrams on a hop and the throw is high. The Bell comes down with it and makes the tag on Lindor before he can slide in. And he drops down a bunt. Cavali off the mound and his throw is on target. So Sodto has been swinging the bat so well. Shot over the bag. That’s a fair ball going down the line and into the corner. Alonzo heads for second as Cruz digs it out and Pete’s got his 38th double of the year. Hit sharply. One hot. Beautiful stop by Lindor, but it flips out of his globe and Cruz is safe and Adams shoots one into right field for a base hit. Cruz turns second. It’s bobbled by Sodto and flips behind him and rolls to the wall. Cruz will score. Adams on his way to third and he is in standing. And it goes to the back stop. Bounces past Alvarez. Here comes the runner from third. The throw by Alonzo and he slides in safely. A comedy of errors for the Mets here in the second inning. Ground ball toward the hole. That’ll go through for a base hit. Now he hits a ground ball to second. Might be a double play. Nunees to Abrams and back to first for the 463 double play that gets Cavali through the inning. Stan Lindor pulls one toward the hole. Nice play by Bell throwing from his knees and he threw it away. We’ll go out as if we had a second and he is in safely there. Little floater out behind second base. Miaz going out and he makes a sliding catch and the throw back to first base is wild. And now Lindor trying to get back to second after he had grounded third and he makes it back safely. He’s just trying to get the seams going all the way across so he can start behind the right hand hitter, end up a strike. Brady House takes one to right field for a base hit and he hits that one off the pitcher glove and it cars right to Nunes who makes the play on McNeel. And Abrams golfs one down to first. Allonzo steps on the bag. Now he’s got Wood in a run down, but he hits him in the back with the throw and Wood is safe at second. Ly flies one to shallow center coming on as Mullins and he makes the running grab. Nice play by Cedric to end the inning. Around the the healthier range for UCL injuries. So a normal baseball is Brett Batty strokes that one into left field. He’s got himself a lead off base hit. Normal baseball’s 5 O. They only raised the baseball weight to 6 ounces. One and two to Mullins who grounded out his first tom up and he goes down swinging on a change up. Good pitch by Kavali. Sodto reached base on catcher’s interference his last time and he hits that one up the middle for a base hit. Batty will go first to third. So Juan Sodto with a two out single again the 2-2 and he hits it in the air. playable in right field for Cruz and that retires the side. So Kavali works around more traffic. Still three nothing after five. He had an MRI today. That’s a sharply righted Lindor. And he picks it and cruise two away. And they said it’s a day-to-day proposition. So that’s good news. Going multiple innings after pitching yesterday. And a swing and a miss. Got him with a change up. Three pitches and House is retired. One away. Lower third of the order for the Mets. Alvarez, Batty, and Mullins. And Alvarez pulls one over the bag. That’s a fair ball. It hits off the tarp. Cars out to Wood and Alvarez will stop at first base. That’s it on the ground. And Nunes with an acrobatic play. They get the out at second. Drop ball up the middle. A base hit for Lyle. So Lyall left on left able to get the base hit, his first of the day. And Hassel hits one up the middle. Same spot. Luther runs it down the spin on a hop and he got him. Oh wow. What a play. He’s here. He’s there. He’s every bleep and wear. It’s a lot of plunks. Wow. That’s ripped to deep left field. Back goes Wood and it’s off the wall. Racing for third is NO. He’ll be held up there. Marte pulls in at second base with a double. Just a little too much top spin on it. And Bentos bag. That’s down the line. And that’ll score two. NO is in. Marte is in. Bentos comes through with a two-run pitch double. And the Mets pull within a run. It’s three to two. Sixth pitch of the at bat to Alvarez and he goes down swinging to end the inning. Mets get two though on Bentos’s pinch in double. It’s 3-2 Nats going to the ninth. And a foul tip for strike three. Came right back with the fast ball to get at him for the first down. One two to House. Struck him out. Up and away with the fast. Backto back strikeouts for Hell’s. Two men down. Cruz runs the throw by Alvarez on a hop and he’s out by the line. Lor puts the tag down. Cruz caught steel inside retire. Pinch hit for McNeel in the eighth. That worked. And now Tor has a base hit to start the night. Make your manager look brilliant to break that streak. House is really aggressive. Third baseman gets the bunt down. House has to go to first with it. 5-3 on the sacrifice. Moving the tying run to second [Applause] and a big cut of the miss was off balance. Holding two to bloops one shallow center. Abrams can’t get there. Base hit. Siri around 30. He’s going to try to score. Has to score and the Mets have tied it. Second and one out. Lor takes off. The throw to third by Adams is not in time. It’s a double steel and the winning run moves to third. One of two to Nemo and Brandon waves and misses on a slider [Applause] and Storm goes down swinging. Ferrer able to get this game to extra innings doing some extra work in the ninth. And Nunia squares, pops it up, and Mauricio grabs it for the first down. Wood hits a ground ball down to Alonzo. He’ll take it himself for the second out. Young moves to third. Two down. 02 to Abrams. Half swing. He went around strike three. Edwin Diaz makes quick work of the Nats in the top of the 10th. He threw to seven pitches. 0 and two to Alvarez and he hits it high to third. A chance for two. The turn by Nunes and they get the 543 double play. Two out. Marte moves to third [Applause] and Mauricio one left center. Back goes Wood. He’s there and he makes the catch and we’re going to the 11. Ground ball to third and trying to advance. The tag by Mauricio and Abrams is out. I don’t know what CJ Abrams was thinking. Two two coming to Lyle. He drives it out to center chasing Mullig way back to the warning track. It’s over his head and bouncing away from him. Chaparro around third. He’ll score. All the way to third goes Lyle. He’s going to be waved around. The relay throw to the plate is offline. It’s an inside the park home run for Dental Ly. One and two to Cruz with two out and nobody on. And Cruz hits a ground ball for Akuna to handle. That retires the side, but he pops this one up on the infield. Chaparo right along the line. Catches it in foul territory for the first down. 3-2 outside. [Applause] Sodto thought for sure it was away, but Poland strikes out. Sodto looking and the nationals even

Been watching you for a long time now and your content continues to be interesting and relevant. Thanks for that!π§²ππΉ
Letβs all laugh at the Mets π
Being a Mets and Jets fan is a death sentence Lucky we had Joe Namath and Bill Buckners error Total of 95 combined years since a they have won a Championship
πππππ
The Keystone Mets
El Γrbitro echΓ³ a perder el juego, por el perdimos, esa era una bola bajita y afuera, Juan Soto tuvo razΓ³n al enojarse.
The Umpire ruined the game, because of which we lost, that was a low ball and out, Juan Soto was right to get angry.
This lose is on Soto.
What?
Is the wifi gone in New York or what.???π
Sorry loss π’
I can't wait till Mendoza is replaced! He has threatening hitters, but constructed a non threatening lineup. It should be McNeil, Lindor, Soto, Alonso, Vientos, Nimmo. His non-use of Vientos alone, should get him fired!!!!
Both teams played hard. Exiting game. Let's go Mets!
The final out was so correct & accurately, that can't be a ball, only be three strikeπ
HahahahhaHAHAHHAHAHA
How bout those Cincy Reds!
LOLMETS
WOW……….that was one sorry home plate umpire, making a blatant, BAD call on Soto, when even the Guardians catcher had to stretch out his arm away from the strike zone to catch that pitch, give me a break.
Also, to root out the unethical, Slimey umpires, I would love for MLB to have a rule where pitches can be contested by the opposing teams manager, because if not, the unethical, Slimey umpires that do exist in MLB, will continue their unethical ball calling, Geez.. Let's Go Mets…π
The Mets lost due to poor strategy. In the 9th inning, with the bases loaded and one out, Nimmo should have bunted to secure the winning run. This game was lost due to a poor decision by Carlos Mendoza.
