At least he’s making progress on getting back. I’d rather him be back next week with a lower reinjury risk if that’s the concern.
Maybe we see him next week?
Feels like he’s inching closer to a “what if” than he is considered a stud
Edit: lol do people not understand nuance? Never said he wasn’t great, but he has missed almost 50% of his career so far due to injuries. I’m rooting for him, but the trend isn’t currently in his favor rn
As long as he’s good by the Bills game

Hamstring is one tricky injury man.
Of course – dude hasn’t practiced since forever… I don’t know what people were expecting!
A shame but also expected. When he’s back to 100% is when we want him on the field. Rushing back a player with a hamstring injury is not good.
I was feeling great about life. And then this news hit.
Rodgers is gonna put up stats like he’s ten years younger.
Disappointing but probably for the best.
If it’s not a 100% go better to be conservative with a hamstring. Sucks, but probably for the best
hopes raised and dashed quite expertly, bravo
Much rather have him be 100% out there than not. Hope Gonzo gets better 🙌🏼
That was expected. Think too many expected him out there after sitting all year, he needs a week of practice and he’s likely gonna play a bit next week as a ramp up then go full go
come on dawg
Anyone who thinks we are seeing him before Buffalo is delusional
At least he is practicing, maybe in a couple weeks
Aw man
Christ

Shoulda put him on IR and used that roster spot for depth
He had a pretty severe hamstring injury. The fact that he practiced last week bodes well for him to return next week.
Patriots nation i feel your pain but we have to believe that the staff and gonzo including head coach have a plan for him. He already prove he can be great when he isn’t injured its beginning of season we want that defense to stay thriving and healthy to soon to lose out on great players. It’s 11 man minus gonzo he can’t cover and tackle everyone you know even if he does come back it will not fix some issues on defense. But im going to stay optimistic.
Well, that sucks.
White must be playing. That’s good more rush from defense. Steelers are a beatable team. Rogers doesn’t throw deep and the defense is not that great. Patriots have to score points and run the ball.
God I hate hamstrings
Of course. No one actually expected him to be active, right?
After what just happened to Johnson in Chicago, him not rushing back is fine by me.
Guy hurt his hamstring, lets it heal probably so it’s not an issue all year and misses 3 or 4 games and this idiotic fucking fan base loses their mind.
You don’t come back on 2 practices with a hamstring injury and play that week.
The sub always seems fill with overjoy or the most pessimistic vibes. No in betweens and this comments shows that
6-8 weeks for a good strain. I’d rather see him play Buffalo.
Let him rest this week, ease him in with Carolina, and have him ready for Buffalo week 5.
I was hoping he could go limited snaps but this makes sense. Going from no practice whatsoever for 7 weeks to playing a game after a week of limited practice is just not common.
Sounds right. He will probably miss more games this year too. Especially if they rush him back he’ll reinjure the hammy. But his injury history is very discouraging. Only played in 19 games out of 37. It’s only going to get worse as he gets older.
I’m all for resting him until he’s as close to 100%. I just hope our secondary really prepared for this week because they have been the weakest part of our defense imo. 3rd and 20 shouldn’t turn into 1st and 10 almost every time.

Not surprised but still pissed
