Blasts Back Cameron | Royals Secure Series vs. Blue Jays

The Blue Jays looking to put last night behind them and get back to their winning way, snap a three game losing streak. And again, as you know, it’s just the first of several goals they have, but you got to do the first one before you can do the others. And a win tonight. Clinches a postseason be for the Blue Jays. You have been more appreciate it this season than Noah Cameron who has had a terrific rookie year back to back starts in seven innings and two runs allowed, man. I’ll tell you what this guy is smoking. What a season way to go. Noah, strong buddy, two down and Vladimir guerrero contact roll to short and Bobby WJR. That’s a 1 to 2 to 3 top of the first inning for Noah. Former Cy Young winner of familiar face Shane Bieber is on the mound for the Blue Jays long time member of the Cleveland rotation, but he’s pitching for a playoff spot today. He’s pitching lights out too. Don’t expect a guy that’s going to be throwing cookies down the middle. This guy, he’s got five pitches , he’ll use every one of them two down for Vinny Pascu nice plate appearance. Two out walk to Vinny Pasin garcia Deeps in and a weak ground ball to third charging kind of for, he’ll make the play a two hour walk but nothing further. And it’s scoreless at the end of one away on a and Then a half swing and a full swing. He went around, he didn’t want to but Ty France strikeout victim number one struck him out swinging, got him to chase a pitch in the dirt. Salvador Perez gets a hand as he comes to home plate hits it hard , but it’s caught by Clement out at short and is Ernie a little shaken up. He took a little bit of time and something is going on with Ernie Clement. Here’s another play for him. He backhands it sets his feet and gets it across to first in time. The intentional skip again from Ernie Clement to get it over to France on the mound. That was a great changeup swing and a miss as Bieber picks up his first strike out of the night miles straw, the batter 2 to 2 to and Cameron gets him on a foul tip. Cameron is once through the Blue Jays lineup without allowing a hit and there has not been a hard hit ball yet off a blue Jay bat. Another quiet start for them tonight, there’s a hit down the left field line and into the corner and even when just about all else fails. You can count on George Springer swinging the bat. Well, this season, they were held a one run on three hits yesterday, Garcia is in foul ground behind the dugout. Sweet. He’s got it. Schneider the inning. He hasn’t hit an extra base hit since he hit a double at Yankee Stadium on the seventh of September. We’ve seen a lot of frustration from and that’s going to drop for a base hit ball of his career. But I think he will take it a leadoff single here in the fourth. Here’s another guy, they would like to get hot. He has had such a good season bottom right opponent hits 197 against him with runners on base. There’s a chopper right side the second that is a Danny of the double play. We got gold everywhere. A 1 to 1. It on the ground is short. Picked up Bobby Witt Junior. Shuffles once tosses to first bounce, but it’s dug out on the backhand side by Vinny Pasquin to end the top of the fourth bottom four and no score here with Bobby Witt Junior leading it off against shane Bieber who’s given up just a walk through three drive deep to center bars to the track. How’s that? For a change, Jr puts a charge to center and the Royals take a 1 to 0 lead. Such a beautiful sound. It was pure. You could tell center field that’s a long way with them one to zero. Now the pitch to Vinny Pascu and now Pasin gets into one deep to right field, springer at the fence and go back to back in the fourth 2 to 0 Royals. We’ve seen it happen many a time. One guy figures the pitcher out and the next guy following him does too. And that was a beautiful pitched to hit one out and nobody on the pitch swing and a miss on a fastball at 93 second straba four. So a leadoff walk and Isaiah Kiner-Falefa will be the hitter a miss for strike three. How about that veteran hitter swinging wildly like that on a changeup from a rookie right at Frazier inning over five scoreless for Noah Cameron bottom third of the order beginning with adam Frazier who got a swing and a miss for his third strikeout of the night. That’s that slider we were talking about when he gets it down and in to the lefties, they swing over the top of it five in a row. Now set down by Bieber since the back to back home runs to begin the bottom of the fourth in the air down the left field line lots of time for straw to get there and Bieber does exactly what buck wanted him to do. He gets the Royals bottom third of the order in order Noah Cameron to George Springer and neither was that elevated cutter. George Springer goes down, Guerrero chops it up the middle. Michael Massey is right there over, make it six scoreless for Noah Cameron Carter Jensen. Uh Jackson strikes out seven in a row now set down by Bieber one down bottom of the sixth. Bobby Junior is one for two with a ground out to short and a home run to straightaway center field. That’s the biggest hole in the diamond. That’s a base hit to left center trying to go to second. Here’s the throw the tag. There’s the electric speed of Bobby win, Jr on full display ball hit just to the right of the gold glove center feeder and junior takes off out of the box with his hair on fire. Look at this tricky slide reaches in with the left hand, keeps it on the back. Does it overside? That’s why you buy a season ticket. So here’s Garcia popped him up. Clement drifting out into shallow left and he’ll make the catch for the third out. That runner is stranded. It remains two to nothing. We talked about him giving up 17 home runs, but he hasn’t given up any hard contact tonight. So two down here’s Dalton Varsha who was struck out and walked as he sends one to center field, it’s deep. It’s gone, hitting a home run off a lefty on the first pitch he sees and Dalton Varsho has the Blue Jays on the scoreboard right back into it and it’s only a one run game now and Martín Varsho hits his 19th home run of the season and that was a Shaq that looks like it’s going to be the end of the night for Noah Cameron that ends on a sour note. But the star from ST Joe has shine bright all season long tip your cap. Noah Cameron and Clement takes a walk. So the inning continues and now Kiner-Falefa has been called back and Addison Barger is going to come up to pinch hit slice to left Rangers got it lined up inning over Shane Bieber who for the first time as a blue Jay pitcher is going to pitch into the seventh inning and Salvador Perez finds a hole on the right side of the infield and the first pitch opposite field leadoff single for El Capitan in the seventh. John Schneider is on his way out to the mound. Terrific effort by shane Bieber. He’s only allowed four hits for two of those four hits were home runs. Mason flew Hardy back in the big leagues buck and right into a one run game. Randall Grich comes out to pinch hit for adam Frazier ground ball to short and up with it. Salvi Motors to third. He takes the extra base and the Royals are set up with runners on the corners and only one out that was a Taylor made double play and you wonder if that line drive that he off the bat of Perez in the second caused him some concern up and in and that got Cagle on right on the hand and that will load the bases. John Rave is pinch running for CS at first. Matt Quatre has is sending a pinch hitter up there. It’ll be Tyler Tolbert to hit for Michael Massey and it’s strike three Cole he got him with a back door sweeper for out number two, two outs in the bottom of the seventh and the bases loaded. So can he get out of it? Two outs now? And a lefty lefty matchup with the rookie carter Jensen to left field straw back. He’s got it. Miles straw makes a terrific running catch going back towards the wall to save at least a couple of runs. The Royals load the bases but do not score on a hit an error and a hit batter 21 Kansas City. So the Blue Jays have the tying run aboard with two outs in the eighth and they will indeed get Guerrero to the plate. Guerrero drives it in the air playable for john Rave in center Jimenez has left aboard. It is still 2 to 1 Royals. The deficit is one going to the ninth and now the major league leader in saves is in carlosEstévez. Estévez. Now Ty France who is 0 to 3 France lines the ball to center field and it’s a base hit and the time run is aboard and now here comes Joey Lodo. He is going to run for France and that brings Don Varsha to the plate. Now he has, and he hits it high in the air left center, a long run for Rave and he makes the catch. Loper Fido had gone around second and has to retouch the bag and race back to first. And now the Blue Jays are down to their last out. It’s Ernie Clement in the air, shallow center sprints in. He’s got it. The Blue Jays, another quiet, quiet night offensively. Just a run on four hits and they cannot clinch a playoff spot tonight.

Bobby Witt Jr. and Vinnie Pasquantino’s back-to-back home runs were all the offense Noah Cameron and the bullpen would need as they secured the series over the Blue Jays!
