Yeah I remember being mindblown when they first aired this. In retrospect, while the player interactions were insane, it’s strange that they weren’t able to smooth out those alley oop transitions as they look blatantly unnatural amidst the otherwise pristine photoshop.

These are terrible (the Pacers have one with just their guys as well). The resolution on the old clips vs the new is so jarring. The different levels of zoom on the two clips spliced together has dudes looking like giants and others looking like gnomes. Only a couple of them look like they might actually be on the same court together and that takes away from the alley-oops from one generation to the other which are easier to do technically, look better, and would be cool on their own (the Pacers one has a bunch of passes from one guy to the other which also would be better without cgi blending to try and make guys look like they are standing next to each other).
Dope. I think with the technology today they can do this even better.

KG & Ant would be absolute mfers together, they’d just rip peoples hearts out- probably the most fun combo. Watching Jokic crash out as Melo jab steps the offense to a screeching halt would be objectively hilarious
