  2. Plays the hardest position on the field day in and day out and putting up these numbers in this day and age…HE IS THE REAL MVP!

  3. I said going into this series that he’d likely need at least 2 HR to have a decent shot at 62. Well, he’s got that already with probably 2 ABs left in this game.

    The good news is that they’ve got the woeful Rockies pitching coming in for next 3 games. Bad new is that its LAD with their top tier starters for last 3 games. Granted, if LA clinches before then, SEA will probably see much less of those SPs. Either way, gonna be very interesting.

    Think about it… if going into this season someone would have told you that a catcher playing in a historically awful hitters park was going to challenge for the HR record, you would have laughed them outta the room. But that’s what’s so great about baseball… there’s always something unexpected happening!
