What a gutsy performance. Mac has been worth every single penny for this team. What a signing and player.

  1. He’s basically the second coming of Jimmy G. Which isn’t perfect obviously but for a backup? That’s insanely valuable.

  2. Feels good to have a backup that can lead a game winning drive and a kicker who can make his kicks under the most pressure.

  3. I’m gonna give him propps. Dude was doing checkdowns, but my god with that banged up knee with a brace and he drove us down the field when it counted and lead us to that game winning FG.

  4. Dude looked like he went to war and he truly did. He’s not perfect, but as our backup? Absolute hero.

  5. We’d be 1-2 with last year’s backups. Bringing in Mac could easily be the difference in us playing in January

  6. Jones about to get his Darnold moment with some team. That was a great 2 min drive to set em up in FG range.

  7. These were the types of games the team has lost these past few years. It was ugly, but a tough battle, and they got the w

  8. Realistically, I can see Mac beating Jacksonville. The Rams and Bucs they’ll most likely lose, but I don’t mind that buffer till Purdy and team can get off the injury report. These first three wins have become so important.

  9. Let this serve as the Mac and Eddie appreciation thread. Best compliment you could give Mac is that he is definitively not playing like a backup hamstringing the offense. The Ricky ball on that 4th down was pure balls.

  10. He’s Jimmy G. At least one boneheaded turnover, a solid D and then finds a way to win. He’s doing it with a bit of a rag tag team of skilled players though. White Boy Rick, KB and CMC were solid today. Tonges made some solid catches and Robinson had the best run of the year so far.

Best backup QB in the league.

  11. While I loved what Big Sack Mac did today. Let’s all take a moment to thank the football gods for Saint McCaffrey.

  12. What great game I was thinking they blew it but damn. Mac jones is guess he just made himself Sam Darnold money at least.

  13. Not gonna lie, with the team rocking the all whites and seeing #10 on that jersey, I had some serious PTSD
