NHL Preseason Highlights | Golden Knights vs. Sharks | September 21, 2025

Raphael Lavois cutting the net, zips it out top.
Davies wors it across. Dylan Coglin lets it rip. Turned away by Nadokovic. And he’ll cover the
rebound. Puck up the wall over the head of Hallum. Held in the line by John Clingberg. A
wrist shot blocked. Hallum looking to move it. Stripped to the puck out high. Here’s Jimmy
Huntington. He’ll drop it off again. And oh, Reinhardt trying to play it. Forac shot. Deflected
high in the air. Nelkovich loves it and covers it. And we watch it right from their own end
out. They got to take it zone by zone and been enormously effective. Sharks on the move.
Good chance coming down that left wing and a good shot on from Michael Misa. That second
overall pick in the draft back in June. Oh, it’s holds up high. A little turnover. Good
pressure high. And then it’s Misa. You mentioned already a ton of elite prospects here in San
Jose with Celabbrini Smith and now Michael M. Puck out of the point for Cormier. UZ moving it
down. Los centered up and Lavois put it off the outside of the net. Quick forming passing play by
the Golden Knight. Bump by UAZ. Held in by Schwint Forzac. A long wrist shot and
a glove save by Nadokovich. Everything’s compacted now. Of course they get the
Olympic break this year in the four nations last season. Adelkovich to squeeze. And that’s how it’s
going to be every other year it seems now in the NHL with Hutton finds Kasarks it to Corzac wrist
shot and an Elkovic clear view of that long range wrist Skinner to Darren Dickinson long wrist
shot attempt and a nice save made by Lindbomb Knights will have their home preseason opener
Tuesday night against the LA Kings Allen drops it. Magna’s wrist shots. Aiden Delkovich for it
centered it off the skate of Hallum. Throughout the exhibition games throughout practices here in
the preseason and how close are some players to maybe breaking into the lineup. How far away are
others. Backhanded here from long range. Outlet pass on the money to Anthony Vincent. Wrist
shot and Limb get a piece of that for real. Thought I’d throw that in there. Yeah, I don’t I
don’t think that’s possible. Certainly. Okay. You heard a lot about his speed. It is evident here
in this game. Here is Brad Howen. He’ll start it out high to Hutton. His drive is turned away down
low. You Jazz buffed off the play by Clingberg. And I know Bruce Cassidy mentioned the other day
Shan he feels like that trio Sison Hen and Kolasar really could be a forcheing force for his team.
That’s something he’s looking to build on this year as a pass from Kers across is just out of the
reach of Clingberg who jumped into the rush. Oh, bring pressure, right? Be that type of line that
can bring energy to the team that, you know, okay, Chicago trying to get out again. Now, out
at the point along wrist shot glove down by Lindbomb from Samson off late in
the regular season into the playoffs. Graph into the offensive zone. Flings it on net.
Lindbomb got a piece of it. 11th pick overall in the 2024 draft. First shot deflected wide off
there and a and Cormier to start it back for Vegas. Pass didn’t make it up ahead. Picked off.
Shot on. Save made by Lindbomb. He denied Musty. A quick developing play. Great little passing as
Smith. Little backhand kind of sets up Musty to walk into that one-time right in the prime right
above the hash marks. Great job by Lindbomb. And now Hunting a wrist shot blocked. Tyler Tofoley
racing up ice trying to get a step on Coblin. To Foley with a chance and Limb a shoulder on that.
Misa centers to Foley gloves and a save. Limb puck down. Sharks emerge with possession and John
Clingberg walks the line along rush shot. Score John Clingberg. It didn’t take long on the power
play. 7 seconds. What he does so well, his ability to walk the line. It’s right back to the point.
Watch head up. Walks, walks, sees a lane and knows where he’s going to place that shot. Able
to rip that. Just kind of float it in. Elevates it. It goes right to the top corner past the
blocker Lind. And the Sharks on the power play. John Clingberg gives them a one- nothing lead. San
Jose to bolster their defense core in the offse. Reinhardt with a wrist shot turned away and they
didn’t get a lot on that clearing attempt. Holts across for Kolasar into the middle is for Bennett.
Hutton the long wrist shot tipped. Save made by Melkovich. That was a shot from the point. Hut
does a good job. You can see there’s that open lane with Howen in front and here’s feeds it
down a little bit deeper. Under a minute to go on the power play for the BGK. Top of ball center
pass blocked out low by Clayton and he just plays it into the Nokovich. Pass blocked down low. The
Sharks penalty kill is able to get the job done. Smith receiver the bench miner for too many men.
Kurishad has a step on Corier save. Oh terrific work and good work in net including a difficult
first stay for Vikman and net for the BGK. The Golden Knights broadcast network is presented
by Palms Casino RTO and Yamaba. Michael Misa turning on the Jets for the Sharks. Here’s Tapley
looking. Walks into the middle. His shot turned away by Vikman. And roll away from Reinhardt. Puck
off the inboards for Huntington. Keep it moving for Clayton. Canyone out high. Shot save made by
Ber with a right pad. That cut still loose. One minute to go in the second period. Sponsored by
Credit One Bank. It’s a delayed penalty on Vegas. Will Smith pulls up looking for a trailer. Finds
Dickens to center a tip. Score. Jeff Skinner. Nice passing play altering. It’s a delay penalty
on the Golden Knights. And it’s two nothing San Jose. Well, San Jose stepped up their level of
play here in the second period. and with a stretch pass right from the far end. Kersam little bank
pass up to Smith and he finds the young defenseman Dickinson coming makes a great play to the front.
Little tap in as Skinner gets body position in front. There’s Skinner. You see how it gets inside
on Davies just presents his stick. A great play by Sam Dickinson and the Sharks grab one late here to
grab the two nothing graph. Dickensson a one-timer blocked by Magna trying to spring Holtz out of
the box. Here he comes. Holts it around and a save made by Nadulkovich. What a sequence of
plays. This is a great pass by Magna. He just waits. Holtz finds it in. Great opportunity. Big
save at one end as Nadulkovich stands tall as he stops. Holtz just with the left pad and the game
the other way. It’ll stop Chuck as Bikeman makes a Reinhardt, Putting and Coglin on the ice.
Sharks win the draw. Dickinson flips it out to Foley. Sick handling through for the empty
net. It’s three nothing with 42 seconds left. Oh, tough play. A little bouncing puck to Foley, the veteran coming down and a little move as
Yeah, it is. There’s the flip as kind of little backspin as it stops on Cogland and not much
you can do there. He kind of at a standstill runs it in 1317. Battle for the puck behind the San
Jose. How moves it off to Magna and that will do it. It’s a shut out for Alexovich.
turned away all 24 Vegas shots tonight.

  1. No offense from the Knights continuing on from their last playoff games six months ago. I hope Marner and Eichel can do some scoring when they hit the ice.
