MVP vs MVP vs MVP HRD vs MVP ASG

Wow! Cal hit his 57th homer and broke Ken Griffey Jr's franchise record. 3 more for 60 and I think he can do it. Aaron hit his 49th and Shohei, his 53rd.

Kyle did not hit a hr and is tied with Shohei for 2nd place.

Currently, AS MVPs (110) are leading regular season MVPs (102).

  1. It’s worth noting that OP is using bWAR which doesn’t give credit for framing.

When looking at fWAR, Cal Raleigh is up to 8.7 fWAR compared to Judge’s 9.2 fWAR

  2. Cal doesn’t need the MVP for it to be the year of Cal. Even if Judge wins nobody is going to be talking about his season like they will Cal’s for years to come.

  3. If we’re basing the MVP award off home runs then Aaron Judge should’ve won in 2017. But they were never going to give it to a rookie…

  4. The Rockies are throwing a guy with a near 10 ERA vs the Ms on Tuesday. Hope Cal can get him for 2 HR before he gets yanked lol.
