🚨Vikings Fans Just Got GREAT News After HISTORIC Win vs. Bengals

Yo, what’s going on everybody? Welcome in the Vikings now by chat sports. My name is Patrick Seatman as we are here chopping it up about the Vikings historic win over the Cincinnati Bengals. And us Vikings fans, we got even more great news because the Green Bay Packers, the World Beaters, I was hearing they were the number one team in the NFL. They were the best team in football. Well, they just lost to the Cleveland Browns today. So, coming up, we’ll talk about the Vikings historic win against the Cincinnati Bengals. We’ll talk about the Packers losing. What does that mean for the NFC North and where does this Vikings team go from here? Uh they’ll all be broken down on today’s show. But first, I got a question for you guys. With the Vikings right now, if you go look at the standings, they are at the top of the NFC North, tied with the Green Bay Packers. So, I ask you guys this. Can the Vikings win the NFC North? Give me a Y for yes. Give me an N for no. You guys let me know your thoughts down below. Can this be the year the Vikings win the division? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section. Now, quickly here, massive shout out to Isaiah Rogers. He was obviously the storyline of the game. He was the game. Like, he was the biggest reason why the Vikings beat the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, we all know he had the two touchdowns. He had the scoop and score. He had the unreal pick six. He had another force fumble. All in the first half, making play after play after play. But it doesn’t stop there with Isaiah Rogers. He posted the first ever perfect PFF grade. Isaiah Rogers had a 99.9 overall PFF grade. He had a 99.4 coverage grade, the highest of all time. It was an unbelievable uh performance from him. Like truly historic. Like we have never seen I have never seen in my life a guy in the secondary completely dominate the game the way he did. I mean, the pick six was fantastic. A hell of a play by Harrison Smith. I will say on that pick six, Harry got his hand in the passing lane, was able to bat it up in there, and Isaiah Rogers did the rest, but then he had the unreal scoop and score where he was the one. Peanut Tilman s uh punch out, picked it up, went down the left sideline, then late in the first half had another force fumble. Like, the dude was truly amazing. So, shout out to Isaiah Rogers. And you know, we’ll talk about more of the defense here and we’ll talk about Jordan Mason and what I thought about the Vikings offense, but a quick take. Um, you Vikings fans were telling me the season was over. People were freaking out after the week 2 loss against the Atlanta Falcons. Everybody was saying, “This is it. The injury bug is too much. This is just a typical Viking season. We were good one year, we’re bad the next.” And this is why you remain patient because the NFL world, it can flip on its head so quickly. Like imagine waking up earlier today and I told you guys, “Oh yeah, the Packers lose to the Browns in Cleveland and the Vikings put up 48 points and beat the Bengals 48 to 10 at home.” Like we’re all feeling way different. So again, I know everybody was freaking out after that week 2 loss against the Falcons and I was too. Like it was a terrible loss. this team looked awful and then compared to how they look today. I mean, it looked like two different ball clubs. But that’s why you be patient. You trust this process. And we all talk about, hey, the only thing that matters is winning playoff games. That’s the number one goal of this season. Does it really matter if you lose a tough one in September to the Falcons? No. The Falcons just lost 30 to zero the uh today. Does it make me feel better about that loss? Absolutely not. It makes me feel actually worse, but it shows how quickly the NFL world can change. So, everybody just take a deep breath. It’s going to be okay. But let’s talk about this defensive man. And let’s start off up uh up front. The guys in the front seven were absolutely getting after it. Um and I will give a massive shout out to Ivan Pace Jr. Called him out on a show earlier this week. He wasn’t playing good football. He missed five tackles this past week against the Atlanta Falcons. Could not stop Bejian Robinson whatsoever. He was making a miss in the hole. Just did not play a good game. But Ivan Pace this past week against the Bengals looked absolutely amazing. He had 12 tackles. He had three quarterback hits. He was all over the football field. And that was the number one reason why this Vikings defense was so effective. Chase Brown, 10 carries for three yards today. It started up front with this ball club. Like, oh my god. Andrew Van Ginkle, Jonathan Gennard, Dallas Turner, the three edge rushers looked absolutely amazing. Andrew Van Genko had two sacks. You guys see the dog popping up in the background. She was trying to get in the video right there. So, shout out to heart. But uh you know, you saw Andrew Van Ginkle flying around the football field. I mean, the defense up front, they were just pushing back the Bengals offensive line. And that’s why, you know, obviously we were all feeling bad after that terrible loss versus the Atlanta Falcons. But as this week went on, I started looking at this game and I’m like, the Vikings should do what they just did. They should dismantle this football team. And they proved that because we knew they were the better team top to bottom. And I thought this defense with getting Van Genko back now you’re still missing Blake Cashman which is a huge loss but once you even get Cashman back like this defense you know even though they didn’t look like how dominant they were last year for the first two weeks they were still playing really really really good football. So massive shout out to the defense massive shout out to Brian Flores. I thought they had themselves a absolutely fantastic day and it started with stopping the run because once you knew the Vikings were able to take away the run then they got Jake Browning into these third and long situations and then it was just flourish showing them exotic looks you know the fans were getting into it. It was loud in US Bank Stadium and it was just a perfect storm defensively. But you know even though the offense like they had an okay day but the reason why the Vikings dropped 48 points it was because the defense had four takeaways in the first half. They were absolutely fantastic. And then that last touchdown came um when the Vikings had their backups in. But it was damn near a perfect day defensively. I can’t wait to see, you know, all the advanced analytics from the game because the Vikings, I mean, that defense was truly special. And um you know, that’s what we expected. Like you have a backup quarterback in your building. I understand the Bengals have weapons, but they have a poor offensive line. You got a backup quarter quarterback in there. You just take away Jamar Chase and T. Higgins and you should be good. And also, I thought Byron Murphy Jr. very quiet game, but that’s a great game coming from a CB1 when you’re going against Jamar Chase Anti Higgins. Barely had to call his name, which I think speaks how good he was. He was very fantastic as well. But I do want to talk about the offense and mainly talk about Jordan Mason here in a second. But I do just want to say thank you guys so much. We uh crossed over 61,000 subscribers here on the channel during the watch party. Um if you guys don’t know, we go live for every single game. We do live playbyplay. It’s a ton of fun. But we crossed over 61,000 subs. And I just want to say thank you cuz I never thought in my life I would uh have the audience I do. And you know, I appreciate all of you guys supporting me. I know we ask you guys all the time to like the video, hit that subscribe button. It can get, you know, a little repetitive and a little annoying, but it really does help us grow our company here and just grow our brand and my brand specifically. So for all the people who have hit that subscribe button in the past, thank you. Thank you so much. 61,000 subs. I mean, that is unreal. I took over this channel when we had 2,000 subs about three years ago, and now we’re at 61,000. So, seriously, thank you guys so much. You guys are the best fans in the world. But, let’s close out today’s show talking about the offense. Jordan Mason, this dude’s just a freak show, man. This dude’s a hell of a running back. And that’s why I was saying before the game, I was like, KC, if you don’t get this man 20 carries, we’re going to have to talk. Now, did it take 20 carries for the Vikings offense to get going? No. He had 16 for 116 and two touchdowns. But we saw also third and short situations, goal line situations. The Vikings didn’t get cute. They just turned around and handed the ball off 227. Like this guy is so good at just creating the most out of every single carry. And that’s why like my favorite addition of the off seasonason, it was not Will Fry, Ryan Kelly, Hargrave Allen. It was getting that Bellcow back. it was getting Jordan Mason because this guy has already changed life for the Vikings offense. He is somebody who can just rely on, you can lean on him throughout the entire game and we saw that on full display today. No Aaron Jones, no problem for this rushing attack. You can just give him the football, rely on him. He can just settle down the offense, too. like when like really the offense this year kind of goes as Mason goes cuz we even saw a fourth quarter against the Bears when really the only quarter the Vikings played well in outside of today like why were they so successful is because it was Aaron Jones going that opens up the you know play action shots over the middle of the field which you know that’s Jefferson’s bread and butter those deep inb breaking routes but the reason the offense was able to get going find that rhythm it was because of the running back it was because of Jordan Mason so shout out 27 man He is just so much fun to watch. He’s a hell of a football player and I think next week against the Steelers, their shaky run defense, watch out for Jordan Mason to have a hell of a day. Now, let’s close it out talking about everybody else offensively. Carson Wentz in the passing attack. Now, they did just enough today. Now, they weren’t asked to do a whole lot. So, it’s tough to really get an evaluation on Wentz because the Vikings really just asked him and especially once the game got out of hand. I mean, you looked up, it was 14 to zero and the offense just really had to maintain the ship. There was really nothing too much that KOC asked them to do. But the one thing I liked about Wentz, he just looked like he was in control. He just looked confident the entire time. And that’s all you can really ask for a guy who is a backup quarterback. Like I think we need to remember Wentz is a backup. His job is to come in kind of not mess it up. That’s what he did today. Like that throw he had. I mean he found that connection with uh TJ Hawinson which was great. Also shot at the Hawk. He looked a lot better. Uh Jaylen Naylor also was making plays. One receiving threat that didn’t look good who had a drop from Brosmer late is Thelen. I don’t know if Thelen if this was the year he hit the wall, but we really haven’t gotten much from him. So, it’s awesome that we’re getting Jordan Addison back this upcoming week, but um I also thought offensively we felt the difference of Christian Darasol. Like, I don’t know if he is the most valuable player on the Vikings. And I don’t even mean that as a dig to Justin Jefferson cuz Jefferson’s by far the best player, but the most valuable player might be Darasol cuz you got a franchise left tackle and if he’s not in there, you’re going into like Walter Rouse or you’re going into like Justin School who’s just a swing tackle who school has been terrible the last couple of weeks. Um but we definitely felt Darasaw being in there. So massive shout out to him. Um he looked pretty good. Had that one false start penalty, but besides that, I mean, he just looked like his old self. And I think we’re starting to see this team find its groove. you know, a rocky week two did not go well. You didn’t play well offensively. You really didn’t play as good as you would have hoped defensively considering what we saw from Atlanta today. Um, but they did just enough and that’s all you can really ask for for this offense. Now, next week against the Steelers and the following week against the Browns, like those are probably going to be rock fight games. Those are probably be low scoring and you just probably got to tell your offense, hey, get to 21 points and we’ll go two and 0 across the pond. And that’s a great feeling. And that’s why this win, it wasn’t just great to hop in the win column, move the two in- one, now you’re sitting at top of the NFC North. It’s how you won. You won in dominating fashion because of that defense. They’re probably telling themselves in that locker room right now, we’re the best defense in the National Football League. And they should be thinking that. It was a historically great performance from this defense. And I’ll close it out with a shout out to this guy, Brian Flores. Um, just thank you for being the Vikings defensive coordinator. I know we give you love all the time and you deserve every bit of it, but man, I just like watching your unit play. Like, this is the most fun I have had watching defense since probably 2017 and that was the Zim defense where they were historically great running that double A gap. But just watching how creative Flo is, watching how good the Vikings are on early downs, and you just see the unique twist concepts, you see the unique coverages they’re throwing these quarterbacks, like the defense is truly awesome. And it starts up top with Brian Flores, one of the best play callers in the league. But top to bottom, a hell of a win today. You move to two-1, you are setting yourself up in prime position to be 4-1 coming out of this buy. You just got to go beat a two-1 Steelers team, which really they aren’t that good. you should handle Pittsburgh and then you should beat Cleveland and then you should be 4- one. Got the by-week. Then you got Philly coming to town with Cman being back with probably McCarthy playing quarterback. We are getting word that it will be Carson Wentz next week. So it won’t be JJ week five TBD, but I’m assuming we see Wentz being the quarterback for the next two weeks. Um and he deserved it. Like he he he played good enough today. Didn’t ask him to do a whole lot, but he did just enough. And now the Vikings. This is why I ask you guys to be so patient. We’re two and one, top of the division. It’s all you could ask for. What a start to the season. The most Viking start to a season ever. So, we appreciate everybody watching today’s show. If you made it all the way to the end, just give me a skull down below in the comments section. And we’ll see you guys next time. As always, school Vikes. [Music]

  1. Wentz looks pretty cool and collected in there. I don't get that uneasy feeling like I did with Cousins or even Darnold on every snap. lol
I'm looking forward to McCarthy's return, but still don't think he's quite ready to start yet.

  2. This is how WE SHOULD LOOK WEEKLY!!!! too much fkn talent on this team to not be able to do this on any given week …. Consistency moving fwd is key !!!!! The way wentz look today , it’s his job until he gives it back 💯 and we get addy back next week !!!!! LFG !!!!! My neighbors gonna be pissed 6am next Sunday 😆

  3. I could not tell but Brandel came in at LT right before the half. In the second half I saw him on the field a lot but never figured out what position he was playing but it could have been LT. It was a smart move since it was 34-3 at halftime. I really don't expect to see McCarthy until after the bye week as high ankle sprains can linger and really bother a player. Wentz never played hero ball, he just played a real clean game.

  4. I think that you need to temper your enthusiasm as although the Flores defense showed that they still might be a top 5 defense, the Vikings beat a team that has been very poor defensively, and they have been winning games by out scoring other teams with a top QB who didn’t play in the game. My guess is that if you research the stats for backup QB’s starting their 1st game on the road there wouldn’t be many QB’s who won the game! But we understand that you want to create excitement by blowing everything out of proportion!
