Does Paul Skenes DESERVE to win the MLB’s Cy Young Award despite overall Pirates team struggles?

As far as Paul SK and the Sai Young, come on, this is a landslide. This should not be a difficult vote. Um, if you are a baseball writer and cannot sus out Paul SK’s performance from the Pirates struggles, I don’t know what to tell you. I just I I can’t come up with a reason why he wouldn’t win this award other than the win loss record. And if you’re going to ding the guy in that significant of an award when he has pitched as well as he has because the rest of the Pirates aren’t good, I’m sorry. That’s very much a wrong decision. It’s unfair to Paul Schemes. Better win.

Paul Skenes’ Cy Young resume speaks for itself, and snubbing him would be unfair. Despite the Pirates’ lack of team success, his dominant strikeout rates, elite command, and unmatched consistency show that the National League’s best pitcher deserves the award—regardless of wins and losses.
