He’s right you know
look at the qbs we have gotten since ben. look at whete theyre at now.
Are we pretending Rodgers/Wilson arent shells of themselves now?
This fails to consider the QBs we have had since Ben. It was a big drop off in talent and ability… I’m more concerned about this defense
There has only been 3 full seasons removed from Big Ben.
And we arent necessarily throwing the best of the best out there. Rodgers has been our best yet but he cant do everything he used to.
Write a letter to Rooney. Tomlin is not going ANYWHERE – they just resigned him.
Only Joe Gibbs and George Seifert have won multiple Superbowls with different QBs.
Tomlin is no Gibbs. And it’s damn hard to luck into having to all time great QBs on the roster at the same time (Montana/Young).
Or maybe it’s the fact that they are paying the defense 200 mill to be one of the worst so far this year.
Change the head coach. That will fix everything!
“No matter how great a QB was prior to getting to Pitt”
Yeah man, absolute world beaters like Justin Fields, the Titty Kisser and Mr Unlimited
Rodgers has found a good chunk of his success this year over the middle.
You people are misserable
Can you name the NFL head coaches who have had success without an amazing QB?
How did the offensive line look after Ben left?
Perhaps something to do with the receiving group
I’d take a deep bomb every now and then it’s always short pass
Such a lame post. Look at the QBs. It’s game 3 of year 2 for Smith.
This sub is f’ing pathetic.
I feel like no one pays attention to any team outside of Pittsburgh. If they did, no one would be surprised at what we saw from Wilson and what we’re seeing from Rodgers.
They’re playing the same way they’ve played for years.
They also have been using the middle this year so that’s just one of those narratives fans are gonna cling to even though it’s not true.
Just holding out for the next franchise qb. He may not be born yet but still hodling out for the next Ben.
Me when you’re posting this at 2-1.
Go OUTSIDE.

Bengals fan here, you guys wanna trade coaches?
I like Tomlin, but his philosophy is clearly outdated. The reluctance to go for it on 4th down time and time again, the brand of offense he’s trying to run, it’s all outdated. And he is seemingly against keeping up with the times. I’ve said it before the season started, I’ll say it again. Anything less than a divisional round appearance this year is an abject failure. And all these offseason moves, trading GP, not drafting a QB till the 6th round because we were waiting on Rodgers, trading for DK, trading for Jonnu and Ramsey, bringing in Slay, that was all Tomlin. If this season ends in failure, it falls on no one else but Tomlin. And if that ends up being the case, I think it’s time to move on. A decade without a playoff win is not the standard. It cannot be the standard. Not in Pittsburgh.
AB and Bell quitting the team set them back way further than anyone will admit.
I thought that was Trai Turner’s Twitter account for literally years
Its 3 games…
sorry trai this is fucking stupid. which post-ben qb was playing great before they got here? russ who got paid 40m to not play for the broncos? rodgers who’s playable if and only if he gets the ball out under 2.5s?
because we don’t have a line that can hold up in protection. rodgers wasn’t sacked last night but he got hammered after almost every dropback. ben’s last year he did the same thing and basically dumped it off quick because the line was so bad.
canada WAS bad at OC, but his offenses faced the same key problem that all of them have since.
How tf does Trai Essex refer to the Steelers as “Pitt”? This is a pet peeve to hear from the unwashed but he should know better. If you’re running out of characters, please use PGH, even PIT is better.
If only we could get this sub on the coaching staff!!!
Mitch Trubisky and Justin Fields didn’t exactly look great. Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson were thought to be washed. Russ specifically, has looked worse with the Giants.
This sub is so trash, “hey did you know since we lost our hall of fame quarterback our offense hasn’t been as good” no shit lol
Ok post Ben, please enlighten me about all those great QBs we had that when to shit once they arrive at Pitt? Aaron and Russell were shit the season prior to being at the Steelers and other than that, we had tiny hand Pickett that ended up being a shit QB #2 somewhere else, now I dont even know what he is.
I get your point about Mike, but you guys need to get your facts straight if you want to hate on him. We didn’t catch any good play makers at the QB position and THAT’S the issue. You can blame Mike for that, but imo, its not that easy to fall on the golden goose 🪿. If it was all teams will have their own Patrick Mahomes.
Y’all know we won yesterday, right?
Mid Mike
It’s so easy to come by great quarterbacks. Just think of all those amazing quarterbacks we had before Ben …
Where are these great QBs we had?
I’m fairly certain if the Oline was able to block you’d see more creativity from Rodgers. The fact is the coach sucks and the offensive line isn’t developing regardless of the pedigree.
If the outcome is the same despite changing employees management needs to be changed, but what do I know I’ve only been working for 20+ years and that logic can’t possibly transfer to football. /S
