It’s just a game. No loss, however bad, will change that it’s just a fun, stupid thing I can distract myself with and it’s not that big a deal.
But goddamn it yesterday hurt. It should’ve been a blowout. It should’ve been how we thought the Pats were gonna be coming out of the offseason. You know that feeling after a drunken night where you wake up the next morning and remember of really embarrassing shit you did or said? And you’re thinking “Oh fuck, that wasn’t a dream, this is reality. That happened and I have to live with it now.” That’s kind of how I feel this morning.
I feel like everyone loves the throwbacks and wants them to be permanent because (among looking solid even if the old pat patriot logo, nostalgia notwithstanding, is a little silly) we had maybe one solid game in them after we’ve been stuck with these crummy blueberry outfits for what feels like an eternity of being shit. But every game we’ve had in them since has been embarrassing *especially* because of all the “yeeahhhbaby it’s time for the red throwbacks this is that good shit” aura farming that happens in the leadup
I’ll be real frank with you I think you put a little more bright red on the rivalry jerseys somewhere and those are a much cleaner and cooler new uniform to be permanent. unless the Jets embarrass us in them too I think they don’t carry the contemporary stink that our throwbacks do yet
Give everyone on this team a flour baby football for the rest of the season!
I will not support this coaching staff if I see Douglas and Rhamondre starting next week. Give the rookies (we spent pretty high capital on) the chance to compete and learn. Douglas and Dre aren’t the future of this team.
Yes, the throwbacks are cursed. Last year we wore them on December 1, 2024 against the Colts. We had a 7 point lead with a few minutes to go, then gave up a touchdown and a 2-pt conversion to lose by 1 with almost no time on the clock. A real punch-in-the-gut loss.
I hate that it looks this way but after Mayos first three games we had endless posts of Mayo as a clown and a McDonalds employee, Vrabel we have “Im sorry Mike” posts kissing his feet after losses. Hard to come to any conclusion on the disparity that isnt nefarious.
This subs fucking pathetic, only keeping up pro Vrabel word vomit and removing everything else. A real “discussion” board you got going when one person steers the entire narrative.
Enjoy your “Thank you Mike!” and “No more panic posting” force fed bullshit.
Cursed or not I only liked the the throwbacks for 1-2 games at most
I’m bias… nothing beats anything Flying Elvis
I am a 49er fan, I am wondering what New England fans think of Mac Jones mania sweeping the Bay Area?
This sub is an absolute shit show after a loss. Maybe we should consider banning posts until at least a Tuesday after a game… JFC what an embarrassment some of these posts im reading are….
