Per the article he still has not had his reconstructive surgery.
Isn’t one of his hips essentially irreparable if he keeps playing on it?
This is what he’s going to keep saying until his contract is up.
Somewhere out there Phil Kessel is thinking that Alex just needs more cheese in his diet and everything will be fine
FWIW If he were to come back at any point this year the Knights would need to remove almost 8m off the cap sheet.

I don’t blame the guy I would exhaust every option before undergoing that procedure as well no matter how unlikely. That being said I have a hard time believing he’s going to go from “I need to have my lower body reconstructed ” to rehab and I’ll be good in 6 months
No doubt he has some serious issues and would like to play again, but you can’t sign Marner with Pietrangelo in the lineup. Even if he wants to play, it’s not with the Knights.
