Saw some pre-Christian Yelich bats (his are below his name). Blessed them all, so we should be good.

That’s pretty cool. Every time we travel to Tennessee I want to stop in Louisville to tour the factory. Maybe next time.
Was there 2 months ago, great tour! Nothing too long and get a little history of how and where.
I asked about Bob Uecker’s flame treated bats and the tour guide had no idea what I was talking about. But you can find his signature on the wall…right by the floor.
Such a cool place. I was there in July. Babe’s bat was the highlight for me.
I got a nub from one of Yelich’s specialty bats.
That’s some MVP caliber wood right there.
I lived in Louisville for over 20 years and spent part of that time working at a restaurant nearby. It’s a really cool tour that nearly everyone loves even if they aren’t baseball fans (just in case you’re traveling with non basketball people who don’t want to do it).
Edit: Baseball, not Basketball nor BASEketball
When you hit in their batting cage you can use a bat made for a MLB player. The last time we visited I used one of his. It was pretty darned cool.
I did the tour too, really enjoyed it. They said Yeli is the only player to come to the factory and sign his contract there.
As many times as I’ve been to Louisville, I’ve never thought to tour the Louisville Slugger factory. Now I need to make a trip.
As a bonus, you get to see the world’s largest baseball bat leaning against the building outside.
