Well we’re going to have a very desperate Ravens team on our hands. Hopefully that leads to an emotional Lamar because when he gets that way he gets in his own head and starts making dumb mistakes a la the triple coverage interception in the 2023 AFCCG
I don’t think we’ll be able to duplicate the pass rush success that the Lions just had but we’ve seen the defense shine against both the pass & run defense but to this point it seems they’ve had to choose one – not very easy to do against Lamar
What’s extra funny about Tyquan Thornton being successful with us is that he was picked with the original selection KC had in the second round of the 2022 draft. Trading back ended up netting the Chiefs Skyy Moore and Darian Kinnard.
So maybe the guy was destined to be here all along.
the Ravens have been heralded as this monster team atop the AFC, yet they have the same record as us lowly, on-the-way-out Chiefs. interesting!
It’s gonna be interesting to see if the defense we’ve had the last two weeks shows up vs the Ravens and Lions or the defense we saw vs the Chargers shows up. I can’t tell if the last two weeks are more of a reflection of where the Eagles and Giants are offensively or if those two games were the Chiefs defense stepping up and shutting them down. Ravens and Lions will test that.
I’m calling it now. If we can maintain Derick Henry’s streak of fumbling in every game so far this season, we win. If not, we lose.
holy moly the Bills have the softest remaining schedule I have ever seen. they will be favorites in all of them, and the only ones that look like they could get remotely interesting are vs us in Buffalo and vs Eagles in Buffalo. what a time to be a Bills fan.
My main concern for Sunday is I can’t see this current Chiefs team putting up 30.
The lions are strong. The ravens are beatable if things fall our way. The do seem to get squirrels when the pressure is on. How about Lamar having the #1 QB rating of all time? Crazy….
Both the Ravens and the Lions looked pretty good on offense last night…for a while, then Baltimore did what they do best: crumble under pressure late in the game. Derrick Henry couldn’t hold onto the ball and Lamar Jackson went into panic mode like he always does, throwing incomplete passes, holding the ball for too long and getting sacked, and fumbling. If KC’s defense can shut down their drives early, I think we have a decent chance at beating them on Sunday, especially with the Ravens on a short week, especially playing them at home in Arrowhead, and especially if we can get Worthy back to accompany Thornton at WR. I feel confident about this game.
Also, fuck the Raiders, fuck the Chargers, fuck the Broncos, and fuck the Bills for their weak-ass schedule and the Eagles for being 3-0 and still having Sirianni as their HC.
Nick Wright mentioned that we should be calling the “tush push” the “early bird” from now on. Hilarious
I can’t tell if the Ravens’ loss last night means their gonna choke against us again or if they’re gonna be pissed and blow us out. The problem is I don’t think our shitty offense can keep up with their amazing one.
