Dulac: NFL Blocked Steelers From Traveling To Ireland Earlier

Bitch move by the NFL
Does sound like a move the league would push, tbh. Asinine.
The Vikings play two Europe games in a row. Will the NFL require them to fly back after the Steelers game, then wait for the Browns to fly to Europe, just to be consistent? Seems like this may not be well thought out.
So how come it counts as one of our “home games” this year, if we aren’t allowed to arrive early and get comfortable before the away team shows up?
It seems they would want both teams to get there on the same day to keep it fair.
Have they actually published the schedule anywhere?
Flight from Pit to LA – 6 hrs 18mins… Pit to England – 7hrs 25 min

I don’t know if it’s been posted, but the vikes are in central time. So there’s a 1.5 hour difference. Vikes might be adjusted sooner/ better/ WTF?
Horseshit. I’m not shocked.
I know from experience that jet lag can effect some players harder than others, so making them arrive same time frame eliminates the excuses for it….but wtf, this is a big deal for the Steelers and Ireland/dublin and I’m sure there was pre-game events and stuff scheduled in advance for the players to participate in media/promotion related events.
the idea that the nfl would do this is downright weird, considering they’ve been playing regular season games in europe since 2007 and they’ve (as far as I know) never cared when teams travel over before.
I’ve been watching these games for a long time, and been to quite a few, and the “will team X do better because they flew over earlier/later than team Y?” has been a recurring question for ages.
Here’s a solution:
Stop having regular season games overseas.
This is dumb. They should let a team fly out whenever they like, early or late.

Frickin’ league doesn’t want us to build camaraderie and friendship with the Emerald Isle
