– Regarding Cootes staying for 9 games: Young guys shouldn’t look that far ahead, want them to take it day by day
– Sherwood Contract: Looking for more consistency from Sherwood, compliments his speed, tenacity, and shot; likes him a lot and they’re talking with him
– Regarding Pattersson/Chiarot: Signed because of how they’re trending, it’s a long-term commitment. Wants them to take the extra step in Junior, trying to send the right message. Impressed by both of them in training camp.
– Raty: Compliments his two-way game, confidence, says he’s looked good. Wants internal competition from the young guys to make the roster.

Interesting to see Hoglander with Chytil, kinda wish they put an NHL RW on that line to really get a good look at that combination. Also interesting to see them try Sasson at center. That line might be a decent 4th line some time during the season.
