Whatever gripes you have with the team this year, not much of it has been Kyler's fault.

  1. He’s done everything that has been asked of him. He’s managing games. Some people only focus on stats.

  2. So I’m not typically a fan of pff grades. I think they rarely match the eye test, and are massively overrated.

That said i think this is mainly a case of them being on point for him. He’s playing good, flirting with great play. Hes made a couple of stupid mistakes, but that’s going to happen when everything is breaking down and he starts having to play hero ball, which just isn’t him. He’s never going to be that elite qb that is the sole reason his team wins a game, and that’s fine. 99.9% of qbs aren’t.

Im curious what he looks like this week. I think conner going down was a catalyst to open up the passing game last week, and I’m hoping it stays that way.

  3. Marcus Mariota being top 5 and no Lamar but for some reason Tyrod is on there makes this list completely invalid.

  4. One of these guys above him is a backup that only played 1 game against a really bad team. Could easily be 6th. Unless you think Marcus Mariota is better than Jayden Daniels.

  5. Kyler throws with some of the best touch I’ve seen in my entire life. Hell even some of the passes this weekend literally couldn’t be more perfect. You can see my flair and just assume I’m a fanboy ignoring all of the issues with the team but we’ve seen him play like the best qb in the league with kliff before. I think one of our problems not a lot of people are discussing is that since we aren’t hyper targeting wrs it is natural for them to tune out a bit after 35 offensive plays before a downfield pass is attempted. I don’t think marv is trash, I don’t think Wilson forgot how to play, I think it’s genuinely a slow run first offense that no longer has Superman at rb to carry what they want to do and it will need to change drastically very quickly or we will be starting another rebuild over with a new gm and coach again.

  6. What a wild set of names at the top of that list. Marcus Mariota? Daniel Jones? Number 1 is QEBUS!? Also Mac Jones playing at a higher level then Patrick Mahomes!? What a season we’re finding ourselves in.

On topic, Kyler being 7th passes the eye test for me, he was fantastic on Sunday, despite facing a great defense, having two of our OL out including our LT, having no run game, and being completely let down by his WR core.

  7. Not exactly a murderer’s row of names at the top, is it? Really makes you yearn for the Brady, Manning, Brees, et al years.

  8. Kyler and the defense has played well enough to be 3-0 imo

WR and RB have been severely underwhelming

  9. I knew going into this season that we would say kyler murray is a worse qb than sam darnold, daniel jones and marcus mariota

  10. Well this is why PFF is not something you should count on

As a fan of the team and of Murray’s he’s not passing the eye test at all.

  11. Conveniently sorted by OFF rating which includes his rushing. Look at his QBR…he’s been mid…same as last year.

  12. Ah yes what a great list that is definitely representative of actual football use and skill, because we all know Kyler is better than Jayden Daniels and Pat Mahomes.

Clearly Tyrod Taylor is better than them too.

Obviously Goff is the 21st worst QB.

Lamar definitely shouldn’t even be on the list.
