Duncan: Negotiations between the Saints & state on a longterm lease agreement are stuck in a seemingly intractable standoff. The future of the team in NOLA is at risk.

  1. I mean with how well the team is doing, there are probably like…tons of people who want to come to town?

  2. I’m fine with Gayle taking her enterprise elsewhere as long as the city gets to keep the saints brand and history for the next group.

  3. Can’t imagine they pumped all that money into the Dome just to have the team walk. Bet they get a deal done.

  4. Jeff Duncan is nothing more than a ball gargling mouthpiece for the Saints, he’s doing everything he can to drum up some drama in order to get the Saints a better deal at the expense of the taxpayers

  5. If they moved the Saints I’d prob stop being a fan TBH. That’s the only way I’d stop- they’re a cultural Louisiana icon

  6. Where would they go though? Doesn’t St. Louis have a newish stadium right before the rams pulled out?

  7. They didn’t dump millions of dollars into renovating the super dome to move out the city.

    Also it’s Duncan.

  8. The fact that the NFL loves having the super bowl in NOLA I don’t see a world where we leave

  9. If they moved out of New Orleans they would most likely move into San Antonio, which would be a boon to me considering that I’ve lived here for years with no intention of going elsewhere.

If they moved to St. Louis though, I might have to consider becoming a fan of the Texans. 😂
