You guys are in denial and it’s crazy
He can be a good person and still cheat as an owner. Which he did.
It’s not mutually exclusive – Ballmer can be praised for donating large sums to good causes. Everyone gives him props for taking the fans on the road to the Denver game and building the new arena. He clearly loves his team.
It can also be true that he and Kawhi skirted the rules on the salary cap and used Aspiration to funnel money under the table.
Online discourse will try to convince you that one bad outweighs all the good and it’s not that easy. Its also fair to criticize Ballmer if he did engage in shady deal making.
There was no cap circumvention seeing as Leonard got a fair contract. It was like he signed for pennies and took money under the table with cap flexibility .
