Remember Alan Hanson? He hit .335 in his first 70 Giants ABs in 2018 and I was certain we had found the one. This year, he’s hitting .355 in 351 PA – higher than anyone in the NL! Or all of MLB for that matter! Where’s the love in the national media??

… hitting .355 for the Conspiradores de Queretaro. Prob is getting some Mexican media love. Keep up the work!

I mean good for him but why would the national media pay attention to a guy who hasn’t played in the majors in 6 years lol
Yes I do remember him. Back in 2018, I was at a game against the Mets at Citi Field, he signed my baseball
I was so salty when they non-tendered him 😂
Guess who else is on that team? Henry Sosa, who played with Kevin Correia and Brian Wilson as Giants’ prospects.
I literally don’t remember this guy at all 🤣
He was a good Giant. There was a play where Javy Baez tried to bait him into taking an extra base and I think he ended up at third or scoring. Best Alen Hanson moment for me
Hate to be that guy but its Alen
I was also surprised when I found out he was Dominican initially
Why are there so many threads of people replying to their own comments?
Toolsy guy that just couldn’t be consistent enough to stick. I really liked his potential!
You had me in the first half. Got a chuckle out of me, even if most people didn’t get the joke.
🎶🎶 Dear Alan Hanson, we’ve been way too out of touch. Things have been crazy and it sucks that we don’t balk that much. 🎶🎶 IYKYK
Woah I do I remember this guy! He was nice! Good to see him still around the league that’s awesome.
Why would the national media give a shit about a guy not playing in this nation lol
I really wanted him to be good. He wasn’t.
I remember the old days at Candlestick. They would have a “future stars” statline on the scoreboard. Usually a 28 year old who was hitting .270 at Shreveport. 😆😆
2017 was a surprise the Giants were cooked. 2018-19 were the worst seasons for a Giants fan this century.
Was not locked into following the Giants those 2 years.
Use his name in immaculate grid a lot
Farhan might be interested.
Alright. But ya gotta get over it.
I kinda checked out in 2018 tbh.
71k in 294 ab. They knew that even .252 was going to be unsustainable
That era was a tread mill of guys like that. Jarret Parker, Mac Williamson, Nate Schierholtz, and more.
I still wonder what better coaching would have done.
