A MAMMOTH homer by Elly De La Cruz! 😳 (21st homer of 2025 goes 415 feet!)

We’ll try to get it all back in one swing. Although a two-run bomb right here wouldn’t be bad. Big swing for De La Cruz and a change up. Ellie was thrust down in the order on Monday of last week. Since he was moved out, he’s hitting 263 with an on base in the 460s. So the average is back up to a seasonl long number and he’s walking a lot. We’ve also seen Lark arise in his opposite way contact. Again, the hits that he’s had over the last week or so, a lot of them as a lefty have been down the left field line. And that’s the way it normally goes when you’re coming out of a little funk. Let the ball travel, start working the ball the other way. Eventually, everything sinks back up. And hopefully that’s what we’ll see this last week. He was one for three in the game on Sunday. One, two. Mlean handles on deck. [Music] in the air. Deep right. No doubt. Demolished by Deon Cruz. And he looked right to the dugout. I wonder if he called that. 415 ft. A mammoth blast. He has rediscovered his potent power. Well, you mentioned the fact that he was hitting the ball the other way and the power definitely has always been there. It’s just matter of it times up or not. And he timed this up perfectly. And watch this majestic home run right here. Heater up and in. No doubt about it. On Friday, he snapped a career worst 43game homerless drought. Here it is, game one of the next set on a Tuesday night. Rocket launch and Mlan doubled and scored Sunday. Pitch yanked way wide. [Music] Thing of beauty right there. [Applause]

Cincinnati Reds infielder Elly De La Cruz CRUSHES his 21st home run of 2025, in a September 23 game vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates.
