Devin Booker scores 70 points against the Boston Celtics | Phoenix Suns

Well, that’s predicated on Isaiah’s ability to get in the paint. That’s why I said you can’t allow him to do two things. Nice high off the glass by Booker. The Suns finally get a field goal. Suns just really out of sync here as Booker swerves in and scores. Nice move by Deon. Seven points and Suns and now a turnover. So a subtle shift of momentum as Booker nails it from three. Smart drawing most of the contact wanting the foul. Booker pretty off the glass. Booker five for nine. Wrestled the team four for 20. Chris is 0 for seven. And Cook does it again. He really kept possession of the ball throughout the 24se second shot clock. That’s not a problem. Dad did it before you. But but here’s the key. You got to listen. So give Devin credit as he continues to put on a show. Basketball players that have kids and you’re teaching them. The hardest part is the kid struggles to Booker taking matters into his own hands. He got popped in the face. Marcus Smart says look like he’s much stronger. But I think the value for that Bucker. Oh, the alley to Chris. Booker from straight away. He is deadly. Although he has been known to in the past. He’ll get excited. Good technical step back and nothing but net. How about 38 for Booker and he’s now one away from tying his careerh high. He turned his angle on that. He did and now he gets the steel and stutter steps in and Smart says go ahead. is all up to how this team continues to battle here. Earl Watson feels like, wait, let’s put a scare on him because he is an automatic machine right now. And Rosia brings it across. Look out. Stolen by Booker at half court. One-on-one with Rosia. The step through and he’s fouled. Oh my goodness. What a play by Book. Five points. Stick around to see what happens with him. How about that? You want to, as you put it in the keys, chip away. Two more. 49. And he’ll go to the line for 50. Dook. Hey, why not? High off the window. He’s got 52 with the crowd ooing. And just to see what he’s doing right now is just I I think you you have to be impressed. They find Booker on the back cut. 56 for Deon. And the Suns get it to Booker. They might triple team him on this for three. He did it. 59. And look at this crowd. All eyes on Devin Booker with 61 points of 42 and a half. Here we go. Bye-bye. Unbelievable. He’s done this in Boston Garden. Booker runs into Zer. Puts it up and that’s it. He’s got the record. 61 points for I mean I think once he gets this then they they can calm down. He did it and that crowd is happy. So uh Celtic uh bench uh listen to your crowd. Most points in the league since Kobe’s 81 in 2006. 70 points for Devin Booker. Just unreal.

On March 24, 2017, Devin Booker broke the TD Garden scoring record scoring 70 points against the Boston Celtics in just his second season with the Phoenix Suns. At the time, Booker’s 70 points is the most ever against the Celtics, breaking Elgin Baylor’s previous record of 64 points (11/8/1959). Booker also is the youngest player to ever score 60+ points in a game. Booker is the first player to score 70 points in a game since Kobe Bryant scored 81 points on January 22, 2006.
