The Rogers trade seems to be the nail in the ~~bullpen~~ coffin.
Why I have an underlying fear of them retaining Melvin and the staff for some insane reason, I don’t know. But I do.
This years team went out just as you would expect them to. An absolute inability to take care of business when they needed to the most.
Can we just release the whole team and jumpstart the rebuild? Pretty sure any LLM can manage better than Bob Melvin.

Now that the Giants are eliminated they’ll win 4 straight and convince Posey to retain Melvin.

I’ve been kind of rooting for the end of the seaon losses, because I hope that way they truly have no choice but to get rid of Melvin.

Gonna be an interesting offseason. Team has massive holes all over the roster, mainly in the 3-5 spots in the rotation, the entire bullpen with Randy likely out all next year, and in the lineup at 1st, 2nd and in Right.

Well, next season depends on what the front office does in the off season. Our farm is mid, existing talent is ok, but the Giants aren’t going anywhere without an infusion of talent.
