Day 5! Give it up for day 5 and the 5th straight loss!

Brutal way to enter the post season. Pitching needs to get the shizz together asap.
At least the bats woke up today… hopefully we bring it all together and seal home adv in the next few games
It’s nothing short of aggravating watching the pitching staff throw 2 gems over the weekend only for the offense to do literally nothing with it, then when the offense finally shows up today and scores as many as they did over the weekend, the bullpen goes “It’s showtime”. All the internal distractions involving Tucker, Shaw, and now apparently Horton’s injury surely aren’t making life easy, but all they needed to do after clinching is finish at a .500 pace (even a little lower), and yet they’re struggling to play a complete game.
It could always be worse though. You could be the Tigers and be on the precipice of blowing one of, if not the largest division leads in MLB history, and maybe not even make the postseason.
I’ve been saying that I really wouldn’t have much confidence heading to San Diego, that park is going to be packed to the gills and loud as all hell. Seems like that’s what we’re headed toward now.
