BREAKING: New York Jets ACQUIRE Jarvis Brownlee! Former Tennessee Titans Corner

Wow. Breaking Jets news here coming out now. Darren Muji just pulled off a trade adding another corner to this roster. Okay, the Jets are trading just a late round 2026 pick swap in exchange for Tennessee Titans corner Jarvis Brown Lee, right? For uh former Florida State seminal, former Louisville Cardinal, uh former mid round pick in just last year’s draft. So, this is someone who’s in year two, appeared in all 17 games for the Titans in year one. started 14 freaking games for this Titans defense. He’s a hard-nosed player. What did he have? Nine I believe he had nine passes defended against last season. With a pick. He’s pretty damn good in run support as well. I I’m not really understanding this from the Titans perspective. Um yes, I know he commits a lot of penalties, but I just don’t understand the benefit right now to to because it’s not like the Titans are getting a fourth rounder or fifth rounder or something. It’s just a pick swap. They’re they’re they’re not even, you know, adding another draft pick, whether it’s like a 2028 late round pick. All they’re doing is just jumping up in the draft and they’re parting ways with a starting corner here. The Jets defense is putrid. It is awful through three games. Granted, played some pretty good teams. Uh combined 8-1 record uh through the first three week uh through the first three weeks, right? When we take a look at the Bills at 3-0, Bucks at 3-0, Pittsburgh 2-1. But still, it it’s no excuse, right? Gardner’s the highest paid corner in football. He needs to be performing better. Michael Carter looks like a shell of himself. Brandon Stevens, that signing has not really worked out up to this point. Tony Adams has not looked good when he’s played and he’s currently hurt. So, we’re starting a rookie Malachi Moore at strong safety. This defense, this secondary specifically, needs it needs to get better, man. It it frankly has to I’m I’ve been so disappointed with how the secondary has looked given the circumstances, right? We’ve talked a lot about it, but Aaron Glenn coming in, Steve Wils coming in, running a defense that all these guys pretty much fit for the most part. Now, CJ Gardenner Johnson is out in the free agent market. If the Jets can scoop him up, man, all of a sudden, I am feeling way, way, way better about this secondary again with the presumed acquisition, the potential acquisition of Gardner Johnson. And now you throw on top of it, Brown Lee, who started a bunch of games. And man, like you look at the hustle with Brown Lee, like he’s I I I think it’s a stretch to say he’s a fan favorite because I haven’t really been following him, you know, pretty heavily like that uh through his first uh season, but he was always someone that stood out to me whether it was back at the collegiate level or when I did see parts of him last season as just a hard worker, big hustle type of player. Um, and man, you know, to to add a potential starting corner to add a potential starting corner in year two of a rookie deal. So, he still has the potential to get better for a late round pick swap. I sign me up for that every single day of the week. I, you know, I I I really don’t think it realistically gets gets much better than that. So, huge huge news here. Jarvis BL uh Jarvis Brown Lee, welcome to the Jets, man. Pumped to have you. I’m excited. I’m excited to see uh how this acquisition kind of pans out here. Let’s go. Anyway, thanks so much and as always, go Jets.

The New York Jets have traded for starting cornerback from the Tennessee Titans Jarvis Brownlee in exchange for a late round pick swap! Love it! As always..Go Jets!

  1. If another team is getting rid of a player, then I unfortunately trust that team’s brain trust over the Jets. Always appreciate your positivity though Ian 👏🏼

  2. HEY IAN , the glass is always 90% full ,,thank you for that !
i'm just gonna throw everything out the window and believe the jets will beat the fish on monday night ,the pressure is on them at home ..

  3. Hey, I'm not sweating. It's all a process. When Dan Campbell took over Detroit in 2021, they went 3-13. Detroit was trash for years . Look at them now. All the pieces will come .it's a process to build a dynasty also look at Jimmy Johnson in his first year with Dallas 1-15, we know how that turned out.

  4. I mean Titans aren't a great team. If it was a player from a Superbowl contender I'd be thrilled but Titans aren't good….. So we're getting a starting corner from a bad team. Doesn't mean he isn't a good corner. It can't get worse with this trade that's for sure 😂

  5. Great hat!

    Go Rays!!!
…tough season. But Stu got his $$$….so he out as owner…..and hopefully no more fire sales after every good season.

No more being MLB's official farm club.

    My fear…
Do you think the new owner might move the team to J'ville?

  6. In 19 games, Brownlee has 92 tackles, 10 passes defended and 1 interception. Brownlee is known for his aggressive coverage that at times costs him penalties. He was flagged 14 times for a total of 57 yards last season. Brownlee has been called for illegal contact, a 16-yard pass interference and a 15-yard face mask in two games this season.
