Most of you probably already know this, but the 49ers are showing real talent, depth, and leadership early on.
Historically, teams that start 3β0 make the playoffs about 75% of the time. Feels like weβre in a strong spot, especially considering we have stars returning.

And that 25% is probably full of teams that would have made the playoffs if the playoffs had 14 teams like it does now
Bosa out for the season is the major concern.
2-0 in the division is legit af. Cards and Hawks are never guaranteed wins especially with all these injuries. These wins will pay serious dividends later on.
I understand we had some close wins, but a win is a win. Weβre doing this without major pieces. Obviously Bosa is a massive hit but as Purdy, Kittle, Aiyuk come back we have the ability to build on what we have. I think we can for sure make the playoffs and then itβs just who gets there the healthiest. I think our floor should still be postseason but sadly without Bosa I donβt think we can we the bowl. Hope I eat crow
Im not trying to be negative, but if we couldn’t win it 2 years ago, we are definitely years away from getting another crack at it. A good start to getting back to that point though.
We also have a supposedly easy schedule. That said, I think making the playoffs will only encourage the team to run it back rather than make some much-needed changes.
I mean hoisting six would be all the more sweeter considering the adversity we’ve already faced. positive mentality, positive results. that’s what I’m going with.
Losing Bosa alone will cost us 2-3 games. At this point if we make the playoffs as a WC I will call this season a success. Not many teams, if any, can survive this level of injury and still perform at a high level.
Injuries probably limit the ceiling, and the wins have been close but can’t argue with the start to the season.
I am so happy Demarcus Robinson comes back this week. He looked great all offseason and preseason. He also gives us a deep threat and overall threat to take heat off Pearsall.
Yeah on paper the bills are a better team but just get into the playoffs and see what happens.
That is certainly better than the shit we had to live through last season
Stars returning, bye right before the playoffs, as long as we can avoid season-ending injuries like Bosa’s we aren’t in bad form, but I’m afraid candlestick wants its revenge on us for betraying it.
That road game in Seattle will age really well, Lumen field is a nightmare to play. i’m happy we got it done early on.
You all know how good the team would be at full strength. Who has cursed us?
