Utah proved it can work. Who’s next?

So now the NHL sees a roadmap and if you think they’re done expanding, you might want to think again. Utah showed that an NHL franchise can work in a market that is excited about it. Every single home game last season sold out of their Full View tickets. The arena will be renovated in the next few years, and the downtown area is going to turn into a sports and entertainment hub. The team has a brand new practice facility in the works, and the Smiths have pledged $10 million to build more rinks across the state to grow the youth game. So who is poised to follow in the footsteps of the early success in Salt Lake

So the question is clear. Who’s next to follow Utah’s early success? Which city is ready for an NHL team?
