  1. We love you Rudi. Sucks that you are gone. Would like to see him honored during a game or put into our ring of honor.

  2. Me and my brother saw Rudi at Miami Airport. We said who dey to him. He smiled back to us. Seemed like a super guy. RIP.

  3. I’ll never forget arriving downtown to tailgate and being forced to go to Headfirst Cafe due to rain. WEBN had Suzette Spencer there doing interviews. We found out we had a mutual friend and she asked my friend and me if we’d like to do a promo live on air before heading into the game. News broke that Corey Dillon was involved in a car accident and Rudy Johnson would be starting. By the time we went on I was pretty lit and the only thing I remember was chanting “Rudi! Rudi!” before stumbling into the game.

  4. I loved going to games as a kid knowing Carson and ocho got all the hype and Rudi was back there the X factor man he was electric while also being brutal to opposing defenses. RIP thanks for the memories.

  5. Very sad news. Watching that clip did bring a smile as I remember how much fun he was to watch.

  6. 2 Johnsons and a Big Willie! Great time in Bengals history, gave us lots of hope. Gone, but not forgotten ❤️
