[Shams] Free agent C/F Precious Achiuwa has agreed to a one-year deal with the Miami Heat, sources tell ESPN. A reunion for the Heat’s No. 20 pick in the 2020 NBA draft after productive stints in New York and Toronto.

  13. I like it. This makes it more likely we see Jovic/Bam/Ware lineups. It also means Terry is about to be gone. I just hope to god the Heat don’t give up an asset to do it.

  23. Really like this move. He’s going to have the Spo “level up” when he gets back in Miami, and he’ll be a great compliment to Bam and Ware. I feel much more comfortable having Precious bridge minutes at the 4/5 than anyone else currently at the bigs.

    I gotta believe there’s a Terry move coming soon, even if it’s waiving him. I can’t see the FO making this move and taking a tax hit for PA.

    His rebounding numbers are solid, like I’ve said previously it’s a great fit since he doesn’t need to play a lot and can just go full motor in the minutes he gets.

  39. The Heat don’t have to waive Terry now…they can operate over the tax line now and dump him later and duck under. They’re likely going to wait and exhaust all trade options before making a move. They can really waive him at any point as well if need be, should injuries strike.
